My prediction for what it’s worth : only three teams can win the League, five or six will compete for European places, five or six will be safely mid - table, the bottom six will be ‘round about ten points adrift by January forming a ‘mini League’ going into the second half of the season, the five joining us will be the three promoted sides along with West Ham and Brentford, of the others I still see Man Utd and Spurs struggling to make the top half. As for our owners who’ve well and truly dropped us into a hole there’s a saying that comes to mind, “When you’re in a hole, stop digging”. We need to be asking why are Fosun still here? What do they want? Where are they taking our club?

Another transfer window less than inspirational although there is still time. Things to me don't look good and I non plussed as Fosun are about business but are devaluing their asset. Maybe cash is more important than value to them. Do they see that asset stripping is of greater value than an approach that creates longer term wealth. We will see, they can either be hero's or vilians with the fans but be sure if the latter it will not be forgotten and reputation is everything.

Still a month of the window left mikebayleaf1 but only two weeks until the start of the new season, so not much wiggle room for VP to integrate any further signings.
If they don't fully back VP then questions will be asked, as this Manager brings the best chance of an upturn in years, imo.

We need to thank Pereira for saving us last season and give him some slack this. Two games is little to make judgement on but he is in a tight spot as the transfer window has, thus far been a disaster. If the finger is not pulled out in the next two weeks I can see him walking and rightly so. Who would want to replace him under the current circumstances, Dean Saunders? For Fosun it's all about finance and they will asset strip and sell on, it's shocking really but if it's not an easy financial gain I can see them walking having already covered their investment and made a handsome return. No loyalty in football or anything else these days. Let's throw Ukraine to the dogs it's not very different apart from the deaths.
