Well now January is on the doorstep it won't be long before fans can begin to see what Fosun's master plan is going to be. For RE in my opinion it is a career defining window. I am still not convinced as to how much control a Wolves manager has on signings but RE needs to be given some building blocks for next season. I can't see huge investment as our position in the league will put most off except for moneygrabbers. I would prioritise a strong leader and a striker that can cut it in the Champ.

Surridge might be a good chance but I don't know enough of him tbh. Josh Sargent at Norwich might be a bet, Nuno is after him but politics there at WH may play a part. It will be interesting if Fosun opt to ditch their policy to buy unproven players to try to develop talent and then cash in. I can't see this happening but I can only see disaster if they continue with this.
Waiting with lackluster anticipation. Have a good new year all.

Surridge averages 1 goal evey 5 games so would probably be an option for next season.

Everyone will have different ideas on who to let go in January, but the reality is we will get more for whomsoever leaves, in January than we will in the Summer. My list of players to sell, if they can attract buyers is, Johnstone and Sa if we can attract a replacement. Tchatchouchoua and, need a new wing back as Doherty cannot play there anymore.Wolfe or Bueno, Andre and Gomes, both are so easily by-passed and JSL, enough said for that choice.

Priority buys: goalkeeper, two mobile centre midfielders, with the ability to run forward with the ball and pick a pass and a fast paced striker.

You make your luck not rely on it or others. Didn't expect anything from tonight but I think it would of been better to have lost it by 2 or 3 goals than in the last minute like they did. Just another embarrassment.

Players look completely dejected and fragile. They better be thinking in their recruitment plans about who wants to play Cardiff, Bradford or Lincoln on a cold crappy rainy night in December. None of that squad is going to hack that

How was that an embarrassment after a lot of people on here were predicting double figures. Great effort from the team and should have taken a point, both og’s were unlucky. Personally I think the embarrassment is some of the fans on here, predicting a hammering and still not happy when we only just lose. Also I didn’t see dejection, after the second og the players were still giving it a go to get back in the game.

I think my idea of support differs from a lot on here, yes fosun have messed up with the team but they’ve admitted that. Now get behind the players and at least acknowledge the effort they put in against a team that’s top of the league. It’s no wonder we play better away from home.

Abit harsh mate. It’s been a awful season but they did alright tonight

It was a surprising performance last night goatmark, and after our recent performances I think a lot of us thought it could be embarrassing, but I don't think the double figure predictions you refer to were honest, mine were references in relation to the current prem league record, a tongue in cheek sarcastic possibility and a reference to 10 being the time the game would be over.
That said, I was thinking 4-0, but had a bet on us to win, (gotta happen sometime), no I thought we were solid, united in spirit showed the genuine effort we've been missing and the passion to get a result.
I truly believe having Docback helped and gomez and Andre non stop. Hwang was running around, sometimes clumsily and maybe lucky not to have seen red.

Larsen, and I know the balls got to be put for him, looked the less committed last night and Tolus energy showed how we should be up front from an interested point of view.
Doubters of Mane had a glimpse of his ability.
I thought yerson toti and particularly Agbadu held their concentration, Wolfe non stop, and like him or not Johnstone is now our No.1. Great performance beaten in only the most ridiculous of OGs.
I know Yerson is our very own happy slapper, but his tears summed up our spirit last night, and it's a spirit we need to carry on through to the end of the season.
As a footnote of course it was Arsenal having a poor game, not wolves stifling them out according to some.

Maybe we should play the rest of the season games away from Molineux.we are a poor team at home and an unlucky team away . so we have no chance at present!

5.) 14 Dec 2025 07:57:03
Agree Goatmark. We obviously lack quality in all areas but were well organised with Doc ad
ding much needed solidity to the defence. Need to offer more going forward but it was much better than we could have hoped for.

6.) 14 Dec 2025 08:50:02
I thought they did a good job, unlucky of course. My Wolves MOTM was Agbadu, thought he was excellent, Kretchi (sorry about the spelling) not so much which was a surprise. Better in the back line for me.

7.) 14 Dec 2025 14:18:54
Doog - however it seems, at least according to some on the "rumours page", that he will be off in January.
Selling your best players window after window has led the club to where it is now.
What a mess!

Well what a joke and the protest was pretty poor as well. Fans need to stay away in the 1000s all game not for 15 minutes. Your support is doing nothing for the team as they don't respond anyway. There is no enjoyment going so break the cycle and break Fosun. Less inside the grounds will spook advertisers and that's what Fosun will listen too.

Well my Brentford ticket will be returned to the club first thing in the morning. All season ticket holders should sell the Brentford ticket back to the club. Although I want to back Rob Edwards, I just can't stand to give Fosun any more of my hard earned money. Enough is enough.

2.) 09 Dec 2025 07:48:34
Good idea, very constructive, I'm sure it will make a big difference just not sure which way.

3.) 09 Dec 2025 11:58:03
Season ticket holders can only sell their tickets back to the club once the match is a sell out.
If the ticket is then sold on you will get 80% of the price as a refund.

4.) 09 Dec 2025 14:40:16
Must be a new rule for this season. I sold my ticket for the Fulham game last season before tickets went on sale to Members and the general public and got money. Don't know what the % was but I certainly didn't have s struggle.

RE knows the championship but his record is awful. Sacked by Watford after 4 months. Yes he got Luton promoted through the playoffs and was subsequently sacked by mutual consent after getting relegated.oh and he coached Middlesbrough for 3 months! Not what I would call a sure bet to get us promoted.

Well Dave I think all fans will be respectful of Jota, he was a legend and a real bit of fresh air for the premier league not just the Wolves or Liverpool. As the match goes on though I can't blame any fan for not booing the Wolves with the meek performances we have become accustomed to.

Players need to show some courage, energy and look like they want it or at least play for a move away from a sinking ship.

I agree about the booing affecting players but we need to think long term. Relegation is a given so the aim of the game is to make the Wolves brand toxic for Fosun's business and get them to sell. Ideally fans should completely boycott games empty seats is a huge issue for owners as advertiser's walk away from toxic brands. I understand fans not wanting to do this so boo away so TV and radio pick it up and broadcast it near and far.
Anyhow Happy Christmas to you all. Good times will hopefully return in a few seasons

I have never rated Larson and when the offer for 50M from Newcastle came in he should have gone but the fact that Fosun didn't proves they knew they were in huge trouble from the start. Edwards is a nice guy but not the right fit at all.

From what I can see the players simply don't seem motivated by him. When this miserable season finishes we need a strong manager who can break the slide. Edwards is not it and I genuinely think he will be gone in 12 months

Agreed DMac but it won't happen. Football is a business. Business relies on marketing and advertising. If fans stay away in huge numbers it will get in the media quickly. That's when the advertiser's will start to question their association with the club. Unfortunately people think the club is still a happy clappy club that cares about them. It doesn't. No club does.
