We are doomed and will be playing the Boggies next season. Enough said.

The whole thing stinks! After we suggested a vote regarding VAR the premier league is now making sure that next season we will be playing in the championship.
19 votes to 1 is very questionable and the double standards over decisions taken by match officials in the last 5 minutes of our last home match are suspicious at the very least.
Coupled with a list of tough early fixtures that have left us struggling at the bottom of the table you don't need to think too much except
THE PREMIER LEAGUE WANT US OUT!

Can anyone help witch pubs can we use tomorrow at Brighton

2.) 25 Oct 2024 14:12:39
The FA and Premier league forget Wolves are one of the reasons those corrupt officials have a job.

3.) 25 Oct 2024 17:25:02
Mourinho says he should go a bottom of the table side in Premier, get in there quick! Can't see FA messing him about.

4.) 25 Oct 2024 21:56:39
Surely its obvious wev lined up mancini???.id take jose in a heartbeat.never happen tho.on another note why didn't we sign woods back in the day when we thut he was crap?.will be backing him to score when we play forest. ?

I believe that Man City will slaughter us tomorrow. We have quality experienced players who are lacking confidence and showing poor form. And a manager who will continue to pick these players and refuses to budge on formations and tactics.
The game is live on sky and for the first time I will not be watching.

We are doomed Captain Mainwaring, I say doomed and next season we will be playing the likes of Oxford, Plymouth and probably Wrexham?
While this is all happening I am watching Nuno performing miracles with a very ordinary squad of players at Notts Forest!

Nuno is the past he was also stubbon let's not forget that, love the bloke but he is the past now.

2.) 20 Oct 2024 07:27:54
It won’t happen and stubborn or not I wish Nuno was our future. Just a nonsense when we got rid. Watch him go. Forest are so fortunate to have him. You may call it stubborn. I call it well drilled.

3.) 20 Oct 2024 07:37:11
We have to grin and bear it, Telford. It's part of being a Wolves fan.If you choose not too then you're not a true supporter in my book. Not exactly looking forward to going this afternoon though! Been there before but I'll take the rough with the smooth.

4.) 20 Oct 2024 08:01:44
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. A run of 17 games without a win does tend to indicate another defeat.

5.) 20 Oct 2024 08:35:25
At the moment old wolf, I'm looking forward to this afternoon. The way I look at it is that we can only be pleasantly surprised, because if we only get hit by 4 it'll be better than Brentford.
Seriously, I'm hoping to see some big improvements in the style, energy and understanding between us, and that we can present some problems for city. After yesterday's events a red card for city might lighten the blow too!. COYW,

6.) 20 Oct 2024 09:23:20
It's become that bad that really nobody expects us too win today, the same next week against Brighton. Palace the week after and that's a team we struggle against and it didn't go too well in the pre season friendlies. Has it really come to our first chance of winning is against a very poor Southampton side?
This is how poor management has taken us. Last time I looked Bournemouth were beating Arsenal 2-0 despite losing their top goal scorer to Spurs. Goes to show what a good manager can do.

7.) 20 Oct 2024 09:33:57
That's the difference between a glass half full and one that's half empty, I suppose, Abbey. It's about time we had a bit of luck as we sure as heck need it.

8.) 20 Oct 2024 11:33:45
I'll drink to that old wulf.

13 Oct 2024 18:27:29
All this talk on the banter pages about the manager, Fosun, Matt Hobbs etc but if things carry on like the last 18 games we will be playing in the championship next season.
One win in 18 games is relegation form and next up is Man City?
I really like Gary O'Neil but he is not experienced enough to deal with our current situation so why not bring in someone like David Moyes to work with him

1.) 14 Oct 2024 06:18:37
Or Big Sam?

2.) 14 Oct 2024 09:48:35
Um, the same Big Sam whose almost 70 years old and whose last two jobs ended in relegation from the Prem?! It is hilarious that people keep suggesting Big Sam 'cause he knows what he's doing' despite the fact that in GONs last two relegation battles he's comfortably pulled clear (us and Bournemouth). Yet Big Sam's last two battles he's been relegated both times (WBA and Leeds)?! Not to mention the fact that he was struggling with health problems back in his WBA days which is over three years ago now! This ain't the 90s and Big Sam ain't the saviour any more! ?

3.) 14 Oct 2024 10:13:25
Big Sam has probably shrunk a bit too, Bullys, as we tend to do as we get on a bit.

4.) 14 Oct 2024 13:53:34
Big Sam isn't the answer, but may be what we get based on Fosun's recruitment of managers and what they will want to outlay. Their judgement bar Nuno and maybe arguably JL isn't the best.

The other thing they'd likely o is sign a unproven manager from the Championship or Scotland. Remember how we nearly got Beale!

Bringing in someone to work with GON wouldn't happen or work. An extra wage expense and who would technically be in charge? Plus it would undermine GON's role. If he isn't the answer now then he has to go, but that being said don't rely on the board bringing in a sensible replacement.

5.) 14 Oct 2024 14:56:14
Always to the point BullysBoy and once again spot on. I really do wonder if some posters on here simply take the first name that comes to mind instead of thinking things through. Allardyce way past his sell by date. Wonder why no mention of Dave Bassett or Ian Holloway? If we do have to replace GON and I still hope it doesn’t come to that, we’ll be extremely lucky to find the right person to steer us away from relegation.

6.) 14 Oct 2024 15:50:53
That made me chuckle Old Wolf, he must be 'average size Sam' by now.

I will miss Max Kilman who has been a great servant for our club. But without Dawson or Coady playing alongside him he has not quite lived up to his tremendous potential.
So thank you Max and good fortune at West Ham.
I have always rated Yerson and he has been pulling up trees during his loan spells away from Wolves so maybe it is his time to break into the first team?
Nico Elvidi is another quality CB who we have been following for a good while now and he is a real ball playing defender who could really fit in at Wolves.
Time to replace Max now Gary.

Reading that Arsenal are interested I taking Daniel Bentley from Wolves. It is suggested that Wolves would not demand much of a fee? I suggest £55 million.

2.) 07 Jul 2024 18:33:33
£55?

3.) 07 Jul 2024 19:40:10
The 55 million for Bentley is obviously tongue in cheek. But make an enquiry for any Arsenal player and they demand at least 50 mill. so don't see much wrong with us playing their game.

4.) 07 Jul 2024 21:39:40
Not how I read it Froome, in fact quite the opossite. The article I read suggested we didn't want to sell and only would for a fee that allowed us to replace him.

5.) 08 Jul 2024 05:57:27
Tongue in cheek of course and the article I read suggested a modest fee for our reserve keeper. It was reported that when an enquiry was recently made In respect of their modestly performing reserve striker Eddie a figure so £50 million was suggested. The irony amused me. Wolves can play silly beggars too.

6.) 08 Jul 2024 12:01:57
£100 Million for Neto and Bentley as their scouting doesn't seem to extend beyond Wolverhampton.

7.) 08 Jul 2024 20:15:37
Reading a report that Wolves have slapped an astonishing £1 million fee on Bentley. The mighty Arsenal don’t like that! ? that's how much they think of you Dan. Outrageous?

8.) 09 Jul 2024 22:31:43
Yeah it does seem bizarre to say well we'd need to replace him and then only ask £1m. Must just be the nature of keepers, I suspect the £1m would be to cover the replacements signing on fee. I suppose cause we got him for free Arsenal were hoping we'd pay it forward, they have money and we don't so they can either pay it or jog on! More interestingly where is Ramsdale going? Cause if they want Bentley must be cause they want to get Ramsdales (reportedly high) wages off the books ?

A VERY BIG NO WANDERING!
When you consider that Matt Doherty was one of our better players. And he displayed more fight than many others then we have a big problem.
Why start with Sarabia and leave Rodrigo Gomes on the bench - makes no sense? Cuhna has had his head turned by a big money move, Ait Nori is not a defender, etc.
Even Vitor looked exasperated in his post match interview.
Fosun you really need to support this club properly because we are going down this season as things stand. Shameful!

Just imagine for a couple of minutes folks if Nuno was still at Wolves now - where we would we be today?
I really hope that Fosun back our new manager properly this time?
PLEASE.

I will give JLOP 3 months before he throws his dummy out of the pram if he is the new coach at West Ham?
He will find David Sullivan far more difficult to deal with than Jeff Shi.
After leaving Wolves 3 days before the season started and now announcing in the media that he is the new coach at West Ham leaves one with agreement that he lacks any sort of class.
Have a thought for David Moyes who has done a great job at West Ham and the club are in a much better situation than when he joined.
But hey this is all about the soap opera called the premier league.
