Gary was class in the sky interview . Balls to VAR and the premier league . We will still ruffle a few big six feathers and stay up comfortably. I thought his comment about people having their livelihood put under pressure was a massive statement . If we went down, which we won't, it could have a massive impact on so many people at our club. They say decisions even themselves out over a season . If that's true then we are going to have a huge amount of decisions in our favour after Christmas.

I agree with everything you say. If it was Klopp or Pep or Arteta they would be shouting from the rooftops. They would want all these games replayed, points reinstated and it would be on all of the sports channels and news outlets for the next few days. It’s a farce, if things even themselves out like they say it does over the course of the season (which it doesn’t) then Wolves are winning the champs league.
Fulham should have been down to 9 men tonight and then the result would have looked a lot less different. It’s embarrassing for the game to see the Lino laughing at the 3rd peno and for cairney to be laughing about his dive on his interview.

Great result for us tonight . I can't see either of those teams getting more than four or five points from here . We will stay up by default and this season has been very poor but we have a chance to reset in the summer with a quality manager . Hopefully he will get his own team together and I think we can judge him then . Teams will get stronger and we need to recruit wisely to compete but I'm sure that we have the financial clout to make good things happen . I think we will see a totally different team next year, no neves, no moutinho, no Adama, no Jimenez and many more changes . From a sentimental point of view, I hope that Raul gets a few games or at least an inclusion in the squad so that us fans can show our appreciation of his contribution to us evolving as we have . The two games against spurs, at Wembley and then the new spurs ground were amazing days out and I think he would have pushed us on even further had Luiz not caused him GBH. Hopefully we can get the job done on Saturday and then look forward to next year and a much brighter future. Out of darkness cometh light ???

We've got Everton to play in two weeks, so that's where we'd be looking to get some points. Some tough fixtures coming up. That said, the bottom three sides could be decoded by then. I think one more point and we're totally safe.

I know we may not get 5 more points handsomelad but even assuming we don't win another game, that means that two out of four teams will have to get seven points more than us and I can't see that happening . As I said, we are staying up by default and need to do much better next year .

After last night I think a point more would keep us up and I've a feeling we might take something at Utd. That said get a return on sat and we can relax. Agree totally spiderwolf if safe and sound then raul etc should be given a last hurrah so we can say thanks for their contributions to our being where we are and the exciting ride along the way. COYW

My view on our aim for next season is to finish top 10.

Leaves us villa and Brentford fighting it out for 2 of the reaming top 10 places.

Now I've calmed down I would like to make a few points about the events of the past few weeks . Yes, we defended badle on the flanks and yes, we missed a lot of chances but I cannot get the bitter taste out of my mouth regarding some dreadful decisions going against us.
Firstly, last week's penalty . Assuming we score then Newcastle play with ten men for more than an hour and I would like to think that we would take all three points . Secondly, the penalty that wasn't given yesterday could have put us level and taken the wind out of Leeds sail.
Both decisions have cost us dearly and it must play on the mind of players that they aren't getting the rub of the green.
I know yesterday's penalty would have been soft but Southampton got one for a very similar challenge . Overall I thought we played ok and looked threatening whenever we attacked . Jonny cost us big time and if it has stayed 11vs 11 I'm convinced that we would have grabbed at least a point.
Hopefully they will take their anger out on forest in two weeks time.

We all simply have to get over these refereeing / VAR issues. They cannot be changed so why waste energy over it. Besides, it simply masks the realities of the past month - our defending has (at times) been woeful, and our finishing (despite creating chances) has been as bad if not worse.
We have to control our own destiny, score more goals than the other team, not simply leave it to the whim amd behest of an officiating team.
We conceded four goals, at home, to a team in the bottom three of the league. That has to tell you something about where we are, forget about the other stuff.
I still believe, despite Saturday, that we are slightly better than at least three teams in this league. And we play one of them next up!

I agree with you porthminsterwolf that there are worse teams in the league and hopefully we will be at one of them in two weeks time . The point I'm trying to make is that we could have been in a much better situation in the last few games if the officials had done their job properly . Our defending in the last few games has been very keystone cops like and we have missed a lot of chances but I just wish we could catch a break so that we are not always playing catch up in games . I still think we'll win two and draw one of our next three games but I am always the eternal optimist ????

Great couple of results tonight . Hopefully we can beat Leeds on Saturday and put a bit of daylight between us and the bottom three . I just hope that decisions go for us this weekend for a change .

Got to win chaps, we've played on more than some below us. Last night's results just what we wanted but it's only us that can maintain the difference. Won't be easy, Leeds are more desperate than us and I still can't get Bournemouth result out my mind. Let's hope we've learnt from that and play Leeds off the park.

If we can win a couple of games then I'm sure we will be safe . The teams below us will have to virtually double their points tally in nine games which I don't think they can do . Luckily three rubbish teams were promoted last year and we are going to stay up by being a bit better but I'm sure that with a bit of good recruitment and a pre season with Vitor then we can start thinking of a much higher finish next year . A strong finish to the season would be brilliant and hopefully set us up nicely for next year .

Don't disregard this managers ability to find some gems from the foreign market. We will stay up, well our best assets and buy some really good replacements . This gaffer means business an I can't wait to see what happens next year . Utw

I think that whether he had a big say in the transfer policy or not, his inability to see that we had trouble defending set pieces and not addressing that, shows that he wasn't up to the job . Like Russell Martin, he was too reluctant to change the zonal marking and it has cost us dearly . The Everton match was the last straw for me because they are an awful side to watch and don't really have much quality . I think we could also do with a good fitness coach because we seem to run out of steam in the last quarter . Oh well, I'm still going to Leicester on Sunday and I'll be cheering the boys on but this year it really has been more in hope than expectation. Hopefully, Vitor will become the new Nuno . Up the wolves ?

We have some very talented players in this squad but with O'Neill in charge we are a team with no heart and soul . No one on the pitch to give the bollockings out when needed and the players demeanour and body language is terrible . Everton are awful and are just hitting the ball over the top to put our panicking defence under pressure. Let's hope we can get something but if we do I fear it will prolong O'Neills tenure .

Absolutely right . If we could put in a 90 minute performance then we might be ok . GON baffles me at the moment . If he wants to defend a lead then go to a back five and make it hard for teams to get behind us . It was a good first half but these late capitulations are really costing us dear. I am really worried for us this season .
