Rapports saying Bruno and his staff are sacked. Not confirmed.

Skrekken

1.) 02 Oct 2022 15:57:38
Hooray, rejoice.

2.) 02 Oct 2022 16:02:06
Also reported by Express and Star.

3.) 02 Oct 2022 16:03:50
They are gone.

4.) 02 Oct 2022 16:21:05
Lage has actually looked out of his depth recently. Been a dead man walking. Awful decisions, on and off the pirch. £120m spent on allegedly top class players who look average at best. Credit Fosun for getting rid so quickly. Good riddance.

5.) 02 Oct 2022 16:23:47
Just hope they don't employ another mendez dummy

02 Oct 2022 12:35:57
Pedro Martins name has turn up as a new coach. Don't seem far fetched.

1.) 02 Oct 2022 13:19:36
Saw this from the Mail Skrekken but I have no idea about him, but he has alleged links to Mendes, of course.
They also claimed Wolves are now actively seeking a replacement for Lage, so we can expect more of this.

2.) 02 Oct 2022 13:24:25
He’s Portuguese, so naturally he’ll be connected.

3.) 02 Oct 2022 14:11:35
I've supported Lage and always sa8d that he should be given time to mould the team as he wants it, however the simple fact is that over the last 15 games, including the solitary win, we have looked toothless going forward. We look alright in the defensive and midfield thirds but in the opposition area, we don't look as if we know where the goal is. Lage has identified the issue but he can't seem to address it and therefore, he needs to move on. The big question is when, not if he is sacked, who will take over. Ideally someone like Tuchel, Zidane, Low, however in reality it will be someone like Rob Edwards, Sam Allardyce or Mark Hughes.

4.) 02 Oct 2022 14:23:06
On a positive note our skipper had an excellent game for Everton, certainly helped them turn the corner. Whoever made the decision to give him to them should hang their heads in shame. They couldn't run a tap!

5.) 02 Oct 2022 14:30:16
It's not my call but Pedro Martins is a rising star. Have done very well the last years. Gone under the radar coaching in Greece. Fits the bill.

6.) 02 Oct 2022 14:49:57
I have one more. Looks like ten Haag could be available soon ?

7.) 02 Oct 2022 15:11:27
Love it Skrekken. Seriously though Lage has burnt all his bridges. We have cried out for a striker in our situation, we get one with a record, and we bench him. We are short in defence so play our best midfielder there, and keep defenders on the bench. Play them, and if they don't work out then by all means make a change. If we have no means of attacking the opposition all we end up doing is defending. I am bewildered by Lage's thinking.

8.) 02 Oct 2022 15:37:57
Martins plays 4-2-3-1 as his preffered formation.

Looks like it is going to be a close race. Everton is going up the table and Luton may suprise.

1.) 27 Dec 2023 07:59:34
A nice three points off Everton, at home on Saturday, will do very nicely

Merry Christmas to you all and good luck tomorrow from me in Norway

Skrekken

1.) 23 Dec 2023 19:10:59
And a happy Christmas to you skrekken, hopefully we'll be celebrated both the holiday and a win tomorrow night.

2.) 23 Dec 2023 20:00:52
Merry Christmas from the USA!

3.) 23 Dec 2023 20:06:10
Xmas comes but once a year
Too much to eat but full of cheer
A time for kids of all ages
A time to blow this months wages
The act of giving has it's own reward
Something many of us would applaud
Even if we just send a card with our best wishes
But never, ever forget the missus
It's a lot of prep and a lot more faf
But a day with the kids will be a laugh
So put up the tree and decorate the house
Creep around on the 'Eve a bit like a mouse
Put the presents under the tree
In little piles so plain to see
Unless you're like us and have the tree outside
Cleaning up those spines we can't abide
So a 7 footer with a 1000 LED's, a bit in your face
So bright it can probably be seen from outer space
So all the presents wrapped and the food prepared
Quite a job and no expense spared
Still it's also time to think about the football
Even while listening out for Santa's footfall
Wolves v Chelsea should be a Xmas cracker
If we see maximum effort with no one a slacker
3 points a must and why not
Time for GOM to plan and plot
So come on Wolves we need the points, now is the time
Up the table we need to climb
No talk of losing let's be clear
Send the fans home full of cheer
We've had another crazy season
It's all been about money, that's the reason
Let's all hope we can start to perform
That will be enough to keep the fans warm
So to all fans, posters and Eds, especially Ed001
Enjoy the day and have a good one.

{Ed001's Note - nice one Long, I always look forward to reading your poems. May Santa bring you lots of points and a VAR malfunction in your favour for a change!}

4.) 24 Dec 2023 05:06:15
A joy again longmynd and a great start to the day for me. I hope you have an enjoyable Christmas.

5.) 24 Dec 2023 12:09:52
Once again great Long

Good news from Neto. One question. The first goal. It looks to me that Longstaff is offside and the goal should have been disallowed?

Skrekken

1.) 29 Oct 2023 18:20:04
Close. But I take it back. But close enough for a var check.

2.) 29 Oct 2023 20:16:49
So, we score two good and very legal goals, one of them very, very good, and high-flying Newcastle can only score two dodgy goals. It's tough playing against 15 men. (Referee plus the VAR 3).

3.) 30 Oct 2023 06:24:40
And, of coarse deep throat, we were reminded again and again that it was a very wet night, slippery surface and how tired the newcastle players were. The only other thing they could have said was how warm it was down south and having to travel away from St.james takes it out of them. Sarky I know but we never get acclaimed in these matches overall.

4.) 30 Oct 2023 07:03:58
DP. Unfortunately SA clashed with Traore and this lead to Newcastle's first goal. SA's a great keeper, but generally one keeper error leads to a goal, where strikers are allowed a few more mistakes. Anyway apart from that yep when we play against the top six teams or media favourites, it does feel we're playing against 12 plus the VAR officials. Wonder what clip clip would have said if this had happened against his side after the spurs debacle?

01 Oct 2023 12:59:45
Really think Dawson was excellent against that Norwegian guy. Forgot his name. sorry ?

Skrekken

1.) 01 Oct 2023 13:30:46
It's fair to say we've all been a bit down
Recent events often making us frown
From losing our 'best' players and of course J L
Was there no one Wolves wouldn't sell
In came GON it didn't look like progress
Was Fosun's embargo making a mess
Nunes came and Nunes went
Went on strike to force the move, he's no gent
So back in town with his new club
Planning salt in our wounds to rub
Hooked off at half time not very effective
Pep's decision making somewhat defective
Set him up for lot's of abuse
His apology to Wolves, not much use
Up steps Neto a man on fire
Makes the City defence look, well dire
A solo effort scored off a deflection
No matter as it was still wing play perfection
Half time came still 1-0
City looking devoid of skill
Lost to Newcastle in the week
Getting devoured by Wolves, so to speak
Pulled one back in the second half
Hoping to win, you're having a larf
Wolves players returned to the script
And around the City full back Semedo skipped
In came the cross it was cleared out
Putting Hwang in with a shout
His shot was blocked it came to Cunha
He rolled it to Hwang not later, but sooner
Known for his ability to assist
He set Hwang up it wouldn't be missed
The Molineux erupted the fans went crazy
That taught City not to be lazy
Fair play to GON he got that one right
Sent fans home celebrating into the night
He drilled into the players the need to concentrate
His tactics and this result ending the GON debate
If this is his style and the players buy into it
Then to Wolves fans, he'll be a hit
This isn't a case of happy clapping
Simply a case of well deserved back slapping
So feet on the ground, one game at a time
Just rack up the points, I'll make it rhyme.

2.) 01 Oct 2023 14:05:10
Dawson also saved 2 goals so I would agree he was excellent.

3.) 01 Oct 2023 14:23:05
Well done LongmyndWolf!

4.) 01 Oct 2023 16:30:35

Well he is gone. What I don't understand is why we put Chiquinho out on loan with Adama leaving.Him and Sasa seems like they could have been a good fit.

Never a yellow card. Didn't think the Gomes one was a foul either.Strange since the ref was decent otherwise.

Every time we get the possibility to jump up the table we seem to fail. Time for a change. 3-0 Wolves
