Rob Edwards given permission to speak to Wolves??????
1.) 08 Nov 2025 16:42:44
Well it appears that Rob wants the job, he's local, it's his club as a supporter, so I'm sure he fully understands the situation he's taking on. It could go either way, what experience did Nuno have, who had heard of him, similarly Zenga.
One worked the other didn't. The biggest issue I see in the short term is language barriers. Dreaming here but Joao Moutinho as a coach/interpreter!
2.) 09 Nov 2025 14:23:46
Its not even a similar comparison.
Nuno had won leagues with Porto and managed in the champions league.
I wish Rob the best of luck.
Revert to a back 5 focus on clean sheets and get the players with pace in the squad. 10 points by January might keep us in touching distance.
Sign Christensen (Loan), Mingueza, Pubill (Loan), Elliott (Loan) and Poku.
Bring Doyle back.
3.) 09 Nov 2025 20:05:10
Nuno was fired from Porto after one season after finishing second. He was also fired after one season at Valencia after finishing 4th with questions asked at the time about the size of transfer fees being payed for players who were clients of Jorge Mendes.
In his second season at Rio Ave he took them into the europa league.

4.) 11 Nov 2025 12:28:40
Ahh my bad Arddunby getting mixed up with Lage and VP.
5.) 11 Nov 2025 17:29:38
Hopefully Rob Edwards can galvanise the players and we'll see an upturn in performances and a more attacking team. If we go down, at least we've got a manager who knows how to get promoted.

Crystal Palace interested in season long loan for Hwang Hee-chan according to The Sun with potential of the young winger we are alleged to be interested in, coming our way.
1.) 18 Aug 2025 18:40:56
I assume that's Jesurun Sakyi. That deal might actually make sense if it's season loan with obligation to buy in both directions. They desperately need a central forward and we get big wages off our books.
2.) 18 Aug 2025 20:33:39
Let him go to palace get Alexander mitroVic in from Saudi he only has year left on contract
3.) 18 Aug 2025 22:22:28
I believe the term for hwang is I’ll drive him there myself
4.) 19 Aug 2025 07:52:38
Matt Hobbs is new Palace Sporting Director. Hwang move will be his proposal. Will be interesting to see how that turns out and also which players he identifies for Palace in remainder of the window. Rumoured to have wanted us to go for Bournemouth’s David Brooke’s but not fancied by Perreira. I think I am with Hobbs on this one.
5.) 19 Aug 2025 08:30:31
I hope he does take Hwang from us. Frees up a space for someone who can actually contribute something to the team. Apart from that little purple patch 2 seasons ago, he's done nothing for the club.
6.) 19 Aug 2025 08:43:15
David Brooke's won't come he is from Southampton and Bournemouth is the perfect club right now.
Unless he has been told he isn't needed.
7.) 19 Aug 2025 20:05:55
Wasn’t suggesting he’d come to Wolves, simply pointing out that Hobb’s was keen to pursue an interest, whilst manager didn’t fancy him. Just an aside but Brooks is from Warrington and his first first team outings were for Sheffield Utd. Wolverhampton is a lot closer to home than Bournemouth!

Newcastle United have signed a centre forward! Nick Woltemade from Stuttgart £60m up front plus £4m add-ons. 6’6 and highly regarded by Bayern Munich.
Hopefully all the JSL talk will subside.
1.) 28 Aug 2025 19:30:24
Let’s just hope this hasn’t upset JSL, he wanted to go and now Newcastle don’t want him,
26 Aug 2025 15:51:09
Got to say, like most loyal supporters, I haven’t been impressed with the transfer progress this Transfer Window, but the deal proposed for Krejci, appears to be well structured. Loan with option to buy, which becomes a commitment to buy after a number of games. Like the JSL transfer.
Now go and finish the job with a couple of strong fast strikers. With Joao Gomes and Andres overlooked for Brazil national team, there’s a lot of players that need to spark and get themselves noticed, could be the added spur to help VP create a winning team yet!
28 Jul 2025 18:37:51
Josh Brownhill announced that he is leaving Burnley. He could do a job for Wolves!
1.) 28 Jul 2025 20:46:29
Penkowolf was thinking the same myself. Midfielder English and free.
2.) 28 Jul 2025 21:40:52
No more money signings.thats it.sold down the shaft river again.gomes andre jsl.to leave nxt ssn.and we go down.gon predicted it.we all did.beginning of the end my friends.so wake up.fosun need to sell up
3.) 29 Jul 2025 04:01:41
Weve got to hope fosun get vp the few players he needs. Asap
Or I can see him going
Or us struggling yet again
Its becoming a routine, this situation
4.) 29 Jul 2025 09:22:29
I’m pretty sure next season will be a relegation battle …again! I don’t know if we will stay up but I do know that sooner or later (probably sooner) we will go down. I’ve been a Wolves fan for 61 years. I’ve seen 9 relegations and 9 promotions.
Some of the best and most enjoyable seasons of my life have been those promotion seasons.
I don’t want to see us relegated, of course I don’t but whatever the future holds we will still be following the greatest football team the world has ever seen. And I know other fans would say that’s not true, but we know it is and that’s what’s important ‘ay’ it. ?
5.) 29 Jul 2025 09:33:53
I'm wolves since 1964 and i'm not being negative just my opinion on how I feel and at the moment we desperately need 4/5 quality player's in and I know it was only a friendly but friendlies don't make player's play badly.there are at least 8 player's that were involved against stoke that should be nowhere near a premier league club.i hope i'm very wrong but if we kick the season off with this squad we are going to struggle massively. No goal threat. Nobody finding space to create chances. Defence a complete shambles and that's against a very poor stoke. So come city. Bournemouth. Everton where I could hope for a possible 4 points my mind has changed to 0 points after watching that awful display. As I said I hope I'm horribly wrong.waw
6.) 29 Jul 2025 12:01:15
Lexluna : First game I remember was a 5-0 win against Altrincham (FAC 3) 1965. Without a doubt Fosun are the second worst owners the Club have ever had, nothing will change while they remain in charge, if fans are OK with watching a team striving for PL survival season after season then fair play to 'em, personally I decided three seasons ago, they're getting no more of my money
7.) 29 Jul 2025 14:07:20
You are having a laugh, Ron.
Bhatti brothers!
Steve Morgan!
Marshall and Ireland eras!
Probably many others before my time.
We all know they are nowhere near perfect but their tenure has delivered some of the best teams and football I've witnessed since I first watched us (3-1 defeat of Portsmouth in October 1966).
8.) 29 Jul 2025 14:52:11
Can't agree that our current owners are the second worst ever. What are you measuring it on?
Take away Jack Hayward being a fan and what his investment actually delivered before he pulled the plug when the club got back to the top flight, was he really a good owner? Haven't Fosun been more successful despite being an investment group who only care about the financial returns?
9.) 29 Jul 2025 16:58:47
I know Steve Morgan always gets a slagging off from Wolves fans and I admit he wasn’t the best but don’t forget that the Stan Cullis stand was rebuilt under his ownership and he also further developed the training ground facilities into a top class operation. Lots on here go on about the need for ground development. Imagine if we still the previous Stan Cullis stand….and he delivered more premiership seasons than….er? … Oh yes, Fosun.
Careful what you wish for.
10.) 29 Jul 2025 17:43:43
Yea, built the stan cullis stand then buggered off leaving the ground looking lopsided and no plans in the pipeline to finish off development
11.) 29 Jul 2025 19:03:27
Well he buggered off because us fans wanted him out and made things difficult so he sold up …. Quite cheaply to …oh yes owners that gave us the most successful period for decades although now sadly they appear to have lost interest. Is that Morgan’s fault?
Oh and the ground was already lopsided when he arrived.
12.) 29 Jul 2025 20:09:57
And he made it more lopsided
13.) 29 Jul 2025 20:33:47
There was nothing wrong with the stan cullis as it was, it was the steve bull stand that needed replacing
14.) 29 Jul 2025 21:50:02
Well said Old Wolf
People have very short memories
Everyone needs to understand that the days of Bully have gone and all the good players in the teams below 7th will be sold to the big clubs
03 Jul 2025 10:07:11
Terrible news about ‘our’ Diego Jota
RIP
1.) 03 Jul 2025 10:13:00
What was that Shankly quote from yesteryear? Don't think so.
Rest in peace Diogo

GON charged by FA over behaviour following the West Ham game of last Saturday.
Enough is enough, it’s time that ALL Premier League clubs get together and charge the FA and VAR officials with bringing our National Game into dispute. Even the TV pundits that never see arguments from our Wolves prospective, have almost united in their condemnation of the totality unacceptable errors that have blighted our season - even Agbo the ‘I only see Villa in his eyes’ pundit, has come down on our side. GON is placid compared to Pep, Ten Hag and alike, yet he has nearly as many yellow cards as Joey Barton got in a season.
Jeff Shi spoke out, time to make these officials pay for there errors, starting with Howard Webb - couldn’t run a bath!
1.) 11 Apr 2024 18:25:08
GON should appeal and request that he gets the sane level of service that Mikel Arteta got in December when he called the officials an embarrasment and cheats. They overturned the decision even though on that occasion VAR had actually made the CORRECT decision.
2.) 11 Apr 2024 19:42:52
Nothing will change until clubs start standing together against the corrupted Premier league.
3.) 11 Apr 2024 22:42:13
The only problem with that though Rated, the clubs who have the ‘clout’ the power if you like, to stand up and make a difference, are the very same clubs who are, or appear to be, protected by the very same Premier League. The big boys won’t upset the men in charge, the men in charge don’t want to upset their star teams.
4.) 12 Apr 2024 02:58:58
Then it's upto the other 14 to make a stand make their voices heard, if the big 6 don't like it they can crack on and form their own league they won't be missed.
5.) 12 Apr 2024 06:12:52
If anything that just reaffirms the FA/premier/Sky6 cartel that looks after themselves and the money making. Won't accept they were wrong, won't allow anyone to question and don't want the 'smaller' teams to interfere with their 'business' models. We've been done out off so many points now when we could be surprisingly pushing for Europe. We could have a big say yet in the title race with arsenal City and pool to play, they wouldn't want Gary and his merry men upsetting the clique.
GON was quite reserved on sat. He went down the tunnel to avoid getting a third yellow, and restrained players from the ref at the end. So he gets charged for what? Telling the truth? That the ref wouldn't talk to him after and letting the public know? Or simply for pointing out what 99% of anyone interested knows, that VAR was wrong and that VAR pressurised and influences the ref to suit their whims? VAR acts sometimes like the fat controllers for the FA, deciding the fate of clubs. That level of influence, detached from the ground and club. Unaccountable and seemingly untouchable has to be removed from the game.
The experience of waiting minutes to see if a players toe or kneecap is beyond one of their 'lines' is not conducive to an enjoyable spectacle or competition, and to charges others for pointing out when it's wrong is just cowardness, scared that the grip may be weakened.
{Ed001's Note - I can't believe people are dumb enough to believe this Sky 6 nonsense. The Premier League teams have 1 vote each in every situation, which means the so-called Sky 6 have 6 and the rest have 14. There is no way of them working as a cartel. It is just nonsense.}
6.) 12 Apr 2024 07:21:51
I know there is some guidance on tv coverage Ed. But the use of Sky6 by myself is really which teams are more profitable to screen, Manchester/liverpool/London clubs will always attract more viewers than west midland/ East Midlands/east annglian etc. So tv companies know who their preferences are and they pay the FA. Hence can be inferred, admittedly when dubiius decisions go against your team.
{Ed001's Note - and why would they do that when the year Leicester won the league TV viewing figures increased?}
7.) 12 Apr 2024 07:48:05
Re GON charged,
If GON used inappropriate language (swearing) towards the referee then he's banged to rights.
Depends upon how aggressive he was too.
Re cartel big 6 I can't see it and even if it was there then I'd give up on wolves/football as is what's the point, as for along as I have a hole in my bottom I live in hope that one day we will be champions of England and the world.
Anyone in the world can laugh at me no probs like water off a ducks back.lol
8.) 12 Apr 2024 10:55:51
My point exactly Ed. Would Leicester have won the league if VAR had been used then?, in all seriousness its because we've been on the wrong end of VAR so many times that's galling me. Like phil above it's a dream to think we could be champions again but the inconsistent decisions stymie our chances of progression.
There is no doubt the game is about money now and not the 'honest' entertainment we oldies once enjoyed.
Obviously TV/FA/premier plan to the financial ends, expecting paying fans to adapt to the changes in KO and timings to maximise them, and there on choosing for the bigger audience. Back to Leicester, we'll they couldn't ignore them, everyone lives the underdog and it shows how refreshing it is to have a club outside the 6 win it.
{Ed001's Note - there is almost certainly corruption involved but it is not a 'Sky 6' v the rest. When there is so much money involved, you would have to be naive or deluded to believe there is not going to be any corruption.}
08 Nov 2025 12:36:42
OOTD that will be corrected in the coming days hopefully - how’s the hangover ?
08 Nov 2025 12:35:06
Mowbray tipped to replace Rob Edwards. Southgate, Martin and Robbie Keane all mentioned as potential new Boro boss.
30 Aug 2025 10:04:25
HTP I believe you are right.
Liverpool will get there man as they always do - meaning JSL or Wissa going to Newcastle. Reading between the lines with the gossip that is saying VP would be happy for Yuri Alberto to replace JSL if possible, plus we don’t usually keep players that say they would be happy to go, it all looks like a late £60-£65m offer could be successful. We are being prepared for the inevitable, but we need another forward. I still believe that will be a loan with VP praying it will be Yuri
28 Aug 2025 19:47:33
ALL WOLVES FANS must read the piece on Molineux News regarding Jorge Mendes.
THE SNAKE IN THE GRASS, shafting us from within our own board.
28 Aug 2025 19:11:56
Wouldn’t be surprised Shada, this could answer the reason Chairman Shi made his statement - when did the hierarchy ever communicate what is going on in our club.
With no third bid materialising today, Newcastle knew they had Woltemade up their sleeve, and when Shi found out quickly made his statement.
Fosun won’t deal with the Mendes situation (if true) as they gain from his trickery, as they have a 20% share in the Mendes agency. Absolutely No TRUST in our owners, sooner they sell up the better!
08 Nov 2025 12:32:57
Would be great to get local Wolverhampton influence back into OUR club. Real passion is required by all if there’s going to be a miraculous turnaround. I know he’s not from Wolverhampton, but I would love to see Conor Coady involvement for his passion and enthusiasm - he never stops encouraging and is loud so will be heard.
COYW - show some pride tonight
03 Nov 2025 19:51:14
There is a God, thoroughly depressed most of today with the thought of going from bad to worse.
03 Nov 2025 17:45:17
Reading some of the posts today such as NandoFC22’s takes some of the anger towards the running of OUR FOOTBALL CLUB away. Like many I have been going to the Molineux for 60 years, not as often as I used too, but have supported the team through thick and thin. The way things are shaping up, we will be back in League One for 26/27 season. We cannot go back to GON, there’s obviously some strong issues within the squad that they simply didn’t want to play for Vitor - accepted he played many out of position - Jhon Arias for example. Agbadou was a potential signing for Liverpool based on his game at Anfield last spring acknowledged by the likes of Virgil Van Dyke, but now is error prone and a shadow of his former self. The team on paper is capable of mid-table, but the confidence is rock bottom. We need a strong knowledgeable coach and assistant - Ole with Carrick, Rogers with a Coady type character, not returning to a nice but weak GON, he failed less than a year ago.
We have a nucleus: Bueno, Agba, Krejci, Pitbull, Andre, JSL, Johnstone (given a chance) with potential R Gomes, Arias (playing in his normal position) Tolu, Lopez, Mosquera and Bellegarde (on his day) with Manes to come.
All isn’t lost yet, but getting this management position correct is vital otherwise 10-15, 000 will go missing from the stadium very quickly. So Mr Shi - GON is not the answer, this could go horribly wrong! No more cheapskate cock-ups, we are already the laughing stock of the Premier League
03 Nov 2025 08:55:09
Priceless OOTD and Longmynd ?????
01 Sep 2025 16:12:15
Are you referring to Mendes? Since 2019/20 he’s been a dead loss. Notice he’s not mentioned since the announcement that he’s ‘the snake in the grass’.
