With a new managerial era dawning I'm confident things can improve at least a little bit. But with it likely we do go down I do think it's quite fun to think about: what do you think is the Wolves best XI across the current PL era?

Looking back the players we had during promotion season and PL it makes me depressed haha. A list of some of the players we had in that time and now looking at our current squad how many players would you add to that list? Maybe 4.

Hard to disagree with that list, but I think two players are missing who deserve a special mention.
John Ruddy signed on a free and a vital part of the promotion winning squad. Was unlucky to lose his place to Rui.
Ryan Bennet also signed on a free and was a key part of the back line for a few years. Personally I believe he was underrated at times and don't feel he was ever adequately replaced.

Basically the Nuno team with a couple of additions.
Only J Gomes and a goalie (because Wolves have only had 3 in the Prem period), from the current squad even make the bench. Andre unlucky as CM is such a strong position for Wolves.

I wouldn't have Vitinha. Yes he's a very good player now, but when he was with us, he was garbage.

Right, so 3 points tomorrow, then I'll fancy our chances of at least a point away at Spurs. Then we welcome Brighton who I don't really fancy this year, and reckon we'll get the 3 points from them. Knock Everton out in the league cup between all that. We'll be buzzing going into that next international break. FWAW

If JSL not fit give Mane a start, hope to goodness we are not tempted to play Hwang . At least Mane is a hard worker, which you can never say about Hwang, we are never going to find out how good he is playing for Under 21s.

You can't start Mane in what is already the biggest game of our season! Did we learn nothing from the Fabio experiment?! Maybe from the bench but we need to handle with care, the lad looks fantastic and as such we need to let him find his place in the squad naturally. If JSL isn't up to starting then I'd go with Tolu and Arias. I hate to say it but tomoz already feels like a bit of a must win, over to you VP. I'm going to call 3-1 win, with Tolu getting his first goal (s) for the club. COYW ?

You are probably right Bully, just don't want to see Hwang given the nod. The young lads enthusiasm is better than someone who adds next to nothing.
