Always stressful being a Wolves supporter unfortunately. The lack of creativity is a problem, we are not creating enough chances to score. New lad looked good to me, Andre and Joao have to start, wonder why Lopez didn’t get a chance yesterday, also what about R. Gomes, he is quick surely we have to try him somewhere. Not enough goals and chances created, together with our 1 or 2 mistakes, Bellegarde yesterday, we in trouble. Big improvement required and quickly, this could be the season we don’t escape, in saying this thought the same last year.

Arias looked decent and Wolfe made a few decent attacking runs. For me, the attacking impetus JSL and Arias was stifled the moment Toti got sent off as we had to sacrifice an attacker for a defender. As I said yesterday, Toti is not a great player and is definitely not captain material. Last season, Agbadou covered a lot of Totis mistake up but even he us struggling now.

As I said earlier I only listened to radio commentary wandering, but it sounded to me as if we actually had more in the way of getting forward with jackson and Hugo going forward and better at the back with santi at the back instead of toti. Of course larsen was sacrificed and bo dount VP saw hwang as the chaser.
Larsen didn't sound overly energetic yesterday and that makes me wonder regarding the Newcastle interest?
Tues I'm expecting rodigo lopez Hugo and santi, midfield pairings will be interesting as will the front line, but again I think we'll see a more attack minded performance.

We have almost never recruited prem players and it wasn’t an issue when we were doing well, I don’t get this obsession with new recruits having to be prem players. Imo they are all over paid which causes problems for teams who struggle financially like us. Yes that may be our own fault for not bringing more money in but all the recent noise about psr from the likes of newcastle and villa shows the model is broken. On that note it’s interesting to see how much media coverage villa and newcastle are getting about this issue, it was hardly mentioned a few seasons ago when we had similar issues.

There's a whole lot of difference in the quality of players we're signing now compared with those who came to play for Nuno. Fosun were paying Premier League salaries then, if they can't compete financially now it's through choice, you get what you pay for, we pay as much as anyone else to watch, Fosun aren't providing value for money, we don't pay to watch the oppositions players.

Ron Moore what makes you think that we don't pay Premier league wages? If the league were defined by wages alone we'd finish in the range of 10th-13th position!

Most of the players that 'came to play for Nuno' were not proven high quality players, but by the time they were sold for massive profits they were.
