Currently hearing rumors that Bayern Leverkeusen are looking at offloading either Koussounou (pardon my spelling) or Tapsoba. One source even said Koussounou was offered to Wolves to raise money for their own signings. Both of these players cost half as much (if not less) than Kilman while being much more mobile and more dominate aerially. Considering neither of them lost a game last year, I think these guys make way more sense than O'Shea or some of these other names tossed out. Shi really will never go for the strong, obvious choice.

Problem is Denver that they wouldn't come to us! Tapsoba in particular I suspect will only be moving to a team playing European footy (probs a Champs League team to be honest). This is half the problem that peeps think signing players is like footy manager and players just move to whoever pays the fee, sadly that just ain't how it works in the real world! Tapsoba ain't leaving the champions of Germany to scrap it out in the bottom half of the table for us I'm afraid! No chance ?

The problem guys is we are shopping at Lidl not Waitrose. We have to cut our cloth and I'm not even sure we are shopping at Lidl any more. I just want the window to close it's becoming a little depressing tbh!

I appreciate what you're saying Bullysboy but didn't Jota, Neves, Moutinho, Jimenez, Cunha and Sarabia all leave Champions League clubs to play for us. I know times are different now but maybe things are happening behind the scenes that us fans don't know about.

The main problem is that they are not homegrown. That is the real issue as we need to increase our homegrown quota, hence the moves for Ramsdale, O’Shea, etc…

I get that Wandering but most of those players were (sadly:) signed when Fosun still had REAL ambition for the club. Even Cunha and Sarabia ONLY came because they new who Lope was and he carried some pull. Not a pop at GON cause he's just cutting his cloth accordingly. If we are trying to sign a Burnley Cb then I suspect a Leverkusen one is (again sadly:) well beyond our reach in terms of both wages and aspirations. Sad but true, just the nature of the beast these days.

If Cunha ONLY came because of Lope why did I just read a quote on the wolves wedsite from him saying he took to the project and believes in it a lot?
Also does anyone (maybe an Ed) know what age you have to be and how long at the club to qualify as homegrown? Maybe why we sign so many young players.
