According to Fabritio Romoano WH are serious about signing Kilman from Wolves.

If we get £40m for him then I'd snap their hands off as it appears that Mosquera will be given a chance. Add to this, S Bueno and Dawson we should be in a position to sign a couple of CBs to strengthen the squad.

We also have Toti plus one more I still think we need at least 2 strikers minimum of one.

Totally disagree. Don’t forget Maidenhead would receive10% of any fee.West Ham received £100m for Rice last year. Why should we sell on the cheap? Think the fact it’s Lopetigue makes it a hard pill to swallow. We sold Neves on the cheap to comply with FFP last year. Why should we do it again? Man Utd currently bidding £70m for Braithwait!

Apparently holding out for £50M. I'll drive him there myself for that!

47Vintage MU offered 35mill for Braithwait well below what Everton want. Because it's MU or any of the top Mu Mc Liverp Arsenal Chel they think clubs should just say yes to what price they say. We should be more like Brighton stick our guns get as much money as pos.

Let’s see how sky and the premiere league punish us for wanting var kicked out they have the option for d how many of our games are televised which means extra revenue for us let’s see how petty they are then they will show their true colours

I do get your point 47 but the thing is that Kilman just ain't in the same league as Declan Rice (I wish he was:)!
I think if we can get anything near £50m for him then we should take their hand off! He's a decent player but not great and also (to be honest) not a great captain, that should go to Dawson. When you think that Palace apparently want £65m for Guehi and he's twice the player Max is! I think peeps also forget with this that Kilman isn't young, in fact at 27 he's two years older than Rice. Max is decent enough but spent wisely I honestly think we could replace him like for like at around £25m. I have no problem with us selling players at the right price, like you said it's selling players on the cheap like Neves that causes problems! ?

I wouldn't be surprised if we're sky regulars for the first half dozen games.

Interesting debate but, for my money, we only see the real Kilman when he's playing with a reliable partner, ie Dawson. Toti is error prone but improving whilst Bueno has yet to prove he can cut the mustard and doesn't have the physical attributes of a top central defender. We got top dollar for Neves BTW given how little was left on his contract

Oh I agree Old, in fact we were insanely lucky to get what we did for Neves with one year left on his contract. However, that only really reinforces the point made above that essentially for a player of his talent that was still stupidly cheap! It's like saying you got top dollar for a dented car, it might be true but the problem isn't the price it's the dents! In Ruebens case the problem was our contract management which essentially meant we had little to no negotiating power and were in fact VERY lucky that a Saudi team came in for him else we would have likely lost him for £20m on the final day of the window. Doesn't change the reality mind, £40m for a player of Ruebens quality and our club captain was (I'm afraid:) still 'selling on the cheap' ?

Ruben was barely missed so I don't think he was that great. I like him but if he can go and nobody laments that all season - replaced by a kid and someone who wasn't that great last time he was in the league.

Speak for yourself, Handsome. Neves was sorely missed at times and certainly in the latter third of the season.

Haha I couldn't agree more Old, I miss him every single match day! It's all about opinions and that's obvs fine but after over two decades of a season tickest he still is HANDS DOWN the most techinally gifted player I've seen wear our shirt live! Jotas high up there but he was never quite as clinical/consistent for us as he is now. If you don't see that Handsome then fair enough, but to be honest I just feel sad for you. Cause it really was a pleasure to watch him play in our colours for me (I still see that goal agaisnt Derby in my dreams:)! ?

The goals against Derby and Espanyol will live long in my memory. Ruben was the best player Wolves have had in my lifetime, but my favourite player will always be John De Wolf.

I like him and he's a great player but he may have been responsible in a small way fir our kack of driving forward. Too easy to pass back to him.
