Who else think that wolves will achieve with vp?

Time will tell.

If we look objectively at last seasons results, even just under VP then it’s hard to set expectations of being top 10 next season. Under VP we only beat 2 teams in the top 13 and 3 draws. The 2 wins against top 13 sides were the only clean sheets against the top 13. I think we should do better next season, but I also think Man U and Spurs will also do better, so will we actually finish higher in the league next season? I’m not putting any money on it. We will need other teams to have poor seasons, maybe Notts Forest and Palace could have poor league season as they also play in Europe and this does often happen. This transfer window could change things, but based on previous summers, my expectations are low.

I think we could potentially lose as many as 8 players this Summer. So VP or not it will come down to who we actually sign and that will depend on if we are allowed to spend what needs spending.

History has taught us that Fosun won't get involved unless they need to. If Johnstone goes then we'll need another 'keeper even if Sa doesn't because Bentley isn't good enough, defence/midfield look ok but we will need our creativity and goal scoring potential boosting up front.

As I've said before if spending is more about succession planning, in other words preparing for the next big sell off rather than what VP needs to get results now, then we may face another challenging season. If that happens then I think fan frustration will grow, so let's hope it doesn't.

VP can only work with the tools he's given so let's hope they support him adequately and we see a period of stability and continuous growth back to where we were initially in this league. 5 Head Coaches/Managers in 4 years is frankly ridiculous and tells it's own story.

Think we could lose more than 8 Long. As it stands, I think, Cunha, Semedo, Sarabia, Hwang, Guedes, Doyle, Johnstone, Traore (I hope not though), Fabio, Sa, maybe RAN, other players out on loan. Good clear out required if VP doesn’t fancy them as it seems, decent bids for RAN and he goes, not happy about it but likely in my opinion, personally wouldn’t sell him at all, but our team will, in all likelihood at below £50m he be gone. Needs good business with all these outgoings, replacements desperately needed priorities being in attacking positions, I would like a new Goalie as well as Sa doesn’t fill me with confidence. Busy summer and I hope we get to work early, like now, back VP with the correct recruitment we can do well, however, they need to be in place ASAP to help integration.

You could well be right Banksy, but that's a lot of players to lose from a squad in one go. Not sure about Semedo yet, will he won't he, even RAN if we don't get the right offer, but I agree the earlier things happen the better.

All we can hope is that there replacements are good enough for what VP wants and we need.
