New to this site, but my frustration has boiled over with our wolves situation. I am season ticket holder of 9 years, actually I have 4 of them for my family.
I read an article some years ago about George Mendes and the Fosun owner creating a network of team to buy and sell players for profit and take the money from the clubs. You can all search this article.
Does everyone remember in the first Fosun season, club owners from various clubs going to wolves games, we all thought it was great!
When Jeff Shi said last season if we wanted to see a club winning trophies then maybe wolves isn't for you. I wondered if it was a miss quote.
To back up what I am saying we generally, but not always sign playes from similar clubs.
Well me and my family have had enough of the Fosun cash cow, they have no interest in wolves to develop the team to win something or develop facilities, this is why Laurie was dispensed with, trust me I know.
They are quite clever though because they have convinced us all that cunha is pushing the move away, but let's be honest it's another sale and profit.
I have emailed the club to say thanks, but I will not give Fosun another penny of my money for a season ticket and explained the above.
I know many will say we should support the team, but things have to change.

If Fosum don't back Vitor I think things will get nasty for them.

As I've been saying, I want to hear something concrete from Jeff and Fosun, I want some hope, some ambition. Ok I can accept the lock down the financial restrictions imposed and all the other reasons/excuses, but it really does feel and sound (or lack of it) like Fosun are turning us over.
Like you Wolves no more, welcome by the way, I'm reluctantly considering my membership, wolves though are my love of near on 70 years so it's a hard thing to contemplate. Are Fosun so detached from the heart that keeps The Wolves beating?
If as Rated says, they don't back VP they will find themselves in a very difficult position.

I think you all have a very sound point. We have experienced a moment of hope with the run under VP, we have seen that we do have some decent players that can provide a foundation, but it needs building upon to move up the table. I believe Fosun need to sniff the air and feel the expectation of positive support. I am sure VP will walk if this does not happen, and the fans will turn. There is no patience left, and declining desire to pay good money to what would clearly be a disinterested ownership.

I was prepared to back Fosun right up to the start of last season. That was when I finally lost patience with them. By Christmas we were staring down the barrel of the championship and like 2 years before when we were in the same position they recruited a new manager spent money in January and we stayed up comfortably in the end. They are only in it for profit and they know relegation would have catastrophic effects on that so they do what they need to do to stay in the premiership.
They didn’t need to do anything drastic during the January in the GON season (but they would have if they’d needed to) and we drifted along to a very disappointing (but not costly! which is the important bit) end to the season.
That’s the future I’m afraid until they go. Hopefully they’ll sell us to a good owner when they do. (There’s plenty of bad ones out there!)
Regarding Victor and next season, well they will buy some promising young players hoping their value will increase as per the Fosun business model, maybe a couple of established players as well to keep Vitor on side. If it goes well as it did in GON’s first season then he’ll stay. If not he’ll go and Fosun will do whatever they need to survive again.
Rinse and repeat until it eventually goes wrong and we go down or they sell up.
Sorry to be so negative and I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think I am.
Have a nice day.

Oh and just for the record, I wasn’t one of those who said Nuno had no plan B and wanted him out. I was devastated at the time, thought it was a huge mistake and still do. BUT.given what Fosun have done to our club since I fully understand why the decision was ‘mutual’ and I don’t blame him for going.
Those were the days ….

I agree with most points on the thred, I'm also not looking falward to another season of the same, selling off players only to struggle until January throw a bit of monney at it to avoid relegation and repeat. It will interesting to see what ambition nots forrest owner has in comparison. I have also email the club to cancel my tickes of 13 years stating the direction of the club over the last few seasons, times are tough and I can't justify circa £1500 anymore

Following on from the posts above, I really hope they back VP, be a good move, if as soon as Cunha has finally gone to replace him, if it is to be Alberto move quickly, this would send a better message out.
Don’t want to hear excuses as we normally get, just missed out on, etc. As we get further into the summer without signings the gloom will increase. Think transfer window opens then shuts again for a while, get some over the line early please.

Why do people run fosun down past is the past stop dwelling on it we can't change anything that as happened.lets surport the club fosun and vp IAM fed up of reading people running fosun down.weve just spent £23 million on striker Larsen he will be better next season with a new striker.at least 6 players will come in some will go if they want to get rid of we want players who are 100% not 50% ish
