Oxley you old cynic, how dare you suggest Wolves would do such a thing, especially so late in the window, so there won't be time to find another.

I know these things are often not straightforward or even possible early in a window for a whole variety of reasons. However, when fans create phrases like 'gesture bid' you have to wonder why, lol.

Having said that it wouldn't surprise me if they do pull it off. It fits Fosuns blow hot and cold model.

Danso stayed earlier in the window he had no interest in coming to the club. We have been here before forcing through a sale for someone who doest want to be here who will Want out if his head is turned.
We need the ride type of player to come in and want to scrap it out, lones, frees it doest matter just need to get over the line. I'm sure the last thing fosun want is relegation this may have been a big learning curve for them, and hopefully a change of directors etc

I don't think Danso actually turned us down. Unless Lens gave us permission to speak with him even though they rejected the bid. So unless we've tapped him up, he's never had the chance to negotiate with us. I seem to remember that as we were talking to Agbadou, the papers said that Danso was option number 2 if Agbadou bid was rejected.

Let's not believe everything we read/see.
