New coach in place and predictably the net is awash with possibilities for January signings and Loans .
The overall feeling seems to be more positive which is quite a change from the last six months.
So I like most will wake tomorrow with a little more hope than usual and optimistic that we may just get out of this mess.
The football gods have not been kind to us since Nuno departed but if the new guy can produce any of those feelings I would be happy with that.

From his press conference nando I fully believe that vitor is a no nonsense guy. He'll get some discipline about the place and players will know what's expected of them.
He seems to know what he wants and what the team needs and I think we'll see the pack attitude instilled again.
So yes I'm agreeing with you, we can have some hope and confidence for the future. I'm not resigning myself to defeat anymore, I'm not expecting miracles but I belief already that we'll give anyone a game now.

Big mistake sacking Nuno, all he wanted was a bit of backing from our useless owners, but no, how dare he ask for more money to take us to the next level, sacked instead.

Just imagine for a couple of minutes folks if Nuno was still at Wolves now - where we would we be today?
I really hope that Fosun back our new manager properly this time?
PLEASE.

I seem to remember a few on here saying that he (nuno) has to go as he has no plan B and that his Tatics are rubbish . let's just hope that Victor can guide us to safety

I remember that too. Careful what you wish for springs to mind.

What's all this Nuno stuff about? The fact is, he didn't have a plan B with the squad he had at his disposal and, whilst much of that was Fosun's fault some of the football he oversaw was pretty dire. Remember the double that Huddersfield achieved folks? I'm grateful for what he achieved at Molineux and, as a bloke, Nuno is the tops and for that reason I'm really glad he's got Forest overachieving but let's not just view his Molineux tenure with rose tinted glasses.Eventually, Alex Ferguson aside, every manager does his time at a club which may be one reason why many of us are rubbing our hands with glee at the turmoil Man City are currently in.
Dwelling on what may have been does us no good so let's get behind Pereira; we may have found a gem.

So if nuno is over achieving at NF does that mean he was doing just with us? Did we ever have a bad of a season as we are now under nuno? Rose tinted glasses no my glasses are perfectly clear thank you

Not on any high horse, Wolflea but none of us have any idea what position we'd be in if he'd stayed but you can bet your house that he'd have been frustrated beyond belief by the owners which is one reason why he left when he did.And yes, Billy, he did originally overachieve for us but of course having players of the calibre of Neves, Jota, Moutinho and a fit Jiminez didn't half help. No we didn't have as bad a season as we are now having but Fosun's transfer policy/ dealings have gone somewhat downhill since I think we might all agree and that would impact the performance of any coach/manager.

Hi old wulf,

I haven't posted on this thread till now, I loved what Nuno did for our club but he left when the time was right and is the past now. Don't want him back as suspect it wouldn't be as good as last time. Also think if he had stayed we may have been relegated that season as he had gone a bit stale as was the football at the time.
