Can soneone who saw the game give a review?
Notably how was Guedes?
I have never doubted him as a footballer just as a human being.
If he has now come to the conclusion that he actually wants to play football at Wolves could he be a viable option?

He looked good. Some intelligent running and dragging defenders out of position. Guedes, Cuhna, Hwang and Larsen are good options attack wise.

I went to the game tonight. Guedes was okay and took his goals well. Great ball in for his first from Pedro Lima and Podence through ball for his second. Have to say he did a lot of running off the ball also. Got a good round of applause when he was substituted. Podence played well also.

If he plays consistently as he did this evening then yes he certainly can. He was very animated with his team mates encouraging and supportive nothing like his demeanor when he first came to the club.

Came off to a standing ovation, no strop about wanting to stay on for a hat trick. Big hug and smiling quick chat with GON. Now the big if is will he be able to continue like that. Answer I've no idea. But on tonight's performance he's worth a punt in my opinion.
Lima was very good this evening as well.

Guedes was class that burst of pace he has is something, took both of his goals really well clapped the fans too when he came off even though he was understandably disappointed as he was on a hat trick.

Podence bit of rust but looks like he is playing for the shirt got a assist too.
Lima he is going to be something special mark my words on that.

I wouldn’t object to him staying Future. As you say, no doubting he has a talent, maybe GON can turn him round and get something out of him. It seems like he just didn’t want to play under Lage.

If he stays, he knows the set up, the gaffer, the squad, any new signing would have to start from scratch and get to know the whole thing. Guedes would, could, just drop right in. To use the old saying, it would be like a new signing if he stays. I’d be quite happy to see Podence stay too.

I know he splits opinions, but he too has a talent we could definitely do with. He could potentially turn/ win games. Maybe GON can settle him down, get the best out if him too

Never had a problem with him TFIOG as I think he was forced into the move, possibly at the wrong time for him. He had a good game, no doubt and it looks like he's happy to work with GON. His performance tonight has to be an 7.5/8 as he stuck to his job and was in position to put his first in and then carried the ball some distance before finishing his second with a cute chip over the keeper.

He's definitely a talented footballer, sometimes that just needs managing.

Thought Guedes was good in parts. Took his second goal brilliantly. Podence and Chiquinho also good in parts. It wasn’t fluid but a good win against a poor Burnley side. Santi was solid and Lima never put a foot wrong. Dawson was great sprayed some great passes and Doyle was ok, just slowed the play down at times.
