So after just two games it's clear our defence is a mess. We should revert to a back five and three in mid field with Cunha and Larsen up top.

Midfield should be Gomez Doyle and the Skipper. We need a CB and a goalie would also suggest a LB, maybe Chilwell on loan?

I really think one or two need a reality check on these Chelsea loan signing suggestions! Ben Chilwell is on £200k a week people and always injured! If we signed him then we REALLY would have a problem with PSR! ?

Greyleg would prefer Ramsdale but it is highly unlikely we can afford either his fee or wages.
But unless Sa leaves its not really a priority unlike CB where there appears to be no progress? Yet unless Dawson is back from his "injury" - however I suspect aging is not something you "recover" from - we are looking at playing until January without a CB who is a proven Premier League quality player.
We are gambling the future of the club or at least its Premier League status on a couple of kids. One playing his first ever games at this level and one who has admittedly played a bit more but always with 2 experienced partners in a 3!
Nando if, as I suspect, we sign no one of significance then sadly that may well be the way to go.
We might be able to shore things up - not hopeful - with effectively 2 more bodies in defence (Assume Dawson would be the additional one of your 3CBs) and then we have to rely on Cunha to perform magic - perhaps with the WBs supporting and providing width for Larsen to feed off - but that is a huge ask of Cunha?
However you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear and without improving the squad GON is going to have to find something special to keep us away from a relegation battle. In reality last year without Neto for 19 games we would have been in one then as well. Sadly it won't be Neto this year!

Cant work out what Hobbs and the scouting team have been doing. We seem to be putting a team together for a youth league; Hope they realise it can take quite a while to get out of the championship if relegated.

Greyleg - I think either would be an upgrade on Sa. Sa is a lower end PL keeper - I don't rate him much more than that, but which is where Wolves are at the moment. My concern is the standard of the back up keepers. If Sa gets injured it's a big problem, but good luck finding a decent back up keeper to sit on the bench unless you can get a free agent in their mid 30s who will want a decent wage which Wolves can't or won't pay out.

Left back is a big concern. RAN is not a left back especially in a back 4. He'd actually be better deployed further forward as a replacement for Neto and a new LB signing. Also a centre back with PL experience. Easier said than done with days to go.
