Why are we still waiting on a striker this should have been sorted as soon as Hwang left for the Asian tornement we had nobody to fill the role. Yes I know we have Fraser but he's only Eighteen can't play him all the time this should been done straight away terrible by Wolves it's taken so long.

Because we still have a limited budget. Things take time during this transfer window. Is it even worth bringing in a striker that has maybe 2 weeks to prove their worth before we get Hwang back and then they will be sitting on the bench? The player coming in has to be better than what we currently have right now. We have been scoring in pretty much all our games with that workload being shared amongst the team which is great. Also we have only had to play Brighton in January in the prem so it’s not as if we have had loads of games to play. Yes we have the cup run but I imagine there is a lot of work going on behind the scenes and as stated before this is a hard window to do transfer in especially with trying to find a striker.

Hi Dek, we have just seen what has happened to Everton abd the charges brought against them and forest, most clubs want stupid monney in January for players and we have made several mistakes in the past, while I agree we do need a number 9 rushing in for someone like Adams of ings is not the option the reason they are being allowed to leave there clubs is because they aren't good enough chelsea want 35mill for Broja! We can't afford to waste that sort of money. Fabio was a huge waste. I do feel like many of our best players have been brought for the cheapest prices for example kilman 40, 000 tommie Doyle will be 5mill lamina 9.5 mil

You should lend your Transfer know how to professional clubs. New signings would be so easy. I mean, no one needs to negotiate a fee, wages or find a replacement.

Let's not forget that other clubs are involved and we can't call the shots so patience is required.

FFP. Looking at the information on Sky sports only £34.6M spent so far in the PL compared to £700M in 2023. I suspect due to this negotiations are even more complex than usual. I'd rather be patient and get the right person (S) in.

If I recall correctly I think GON said in an interview at some point that we wouldn't be getting anyone until the end of the window because of the economics in transfer fees/expectations. We may see a new face in the next seven days, who though? Well see.

You're right CB73. To your list of best player bargain buys I would add Doc at 85 grand from Bohemians in Ireland, to Joao Moutinho bought for £5m. For that matter, Robbie Keane and Steve Bull too.
