It appears we're signing Gerona CH Santiago for 10 mill is having a medical today. Which is a surprise considering we could not afford 6 mill for Elvedie or we're we never after him in the first place. Anyway Santiago is 24 years of age and we have been tracking him for a while.

Dek123, I thought that Elvedi's club wanted £10m for him in the hope that someone would pay it as teams bid against each other but actually value him at £6m which Wolves are prepared to pay.

Jas M not quite sure what to make of things because according to all reports we've been chasing Elvedi all summer. But now we're going to sign Santiago Bueno from Girona for ten mill he's having a medical today.Not sure if Wolves will go after both and it looks like they have decided on Bueno so confusing being a Wolves fan.

It sounds like a couple of players are flying in for medicals etc. I have a staff member stuck in Portugal since Monday. No flights to UK due to the big glitch. My staff member looked at flying to Paris and then Eurostar to London, but the train is booked solid. How can we fly players in?

We maybe looking at the two of them. I posted last night that Goodison News had Elvedi going to Everton for £4.3m but they where looking at someone from Spurs then I found this from German Press - Bild:

'Elvedi’s deal runs until 2024, with an option for another year, and his current market value is €18m.

The report states the Bundesliga side would like to sell him for over €10m but haven’t yet received any offers meeting their demands. Therefore, Bild say Gladbach ‘will be happy’ to get €5-6m from Elvedi’s sale in the next few days.

In other words, both Everton and Wolves have a chance to carry out a cheap deal late in the window.'

5 million euro equates to £4, 310, 000 - he would be a good signing.
