From the little I've seen of Denayer he's abit of unit! Like Boly not the quickest but (probably) like Boly good in the air. I suspect he would be a like for like replacement, Only thing is I can't see him coming to play back up but who knows? We definitely need another senior cb, I might not like his history but Dawson would be a great signing. Always (begrudgingly:) rated him, doesn't miss a header and pretty sure he's been captain before so may be a bit of leadership for the back line to boot so that would be my preference ?

I'd take him, Greyleg. Would be a steadying influence at the back ( Collins may need removing from the firing line on occasions) and is a goal threat at set pieces.
