Craig Dawson anyone fancy this rumour? Apparently interest from us and Villa. Allegedly unhappy at West Ham as being pushed down the pecking order. With Boly off may add a bit of experience as and when needed. Thoughts?

I'ld like to see a few more British players in the first team squad. No sinister reason for that just that I think it would be good for the club long term from a home grown point of view.

Nothing sinister in that Arddunby, we've recently lost two senior ones so a replacement wouldn't come amiss, particularly at the back. Villa will probably get him though as they currently have more of a first team vacancy due to injuries.

Agree with the above.

A nice balance of British, European and Others is nice. but I'm not sure how the home grown rule works but we can't be far off being unstuck I would have guessed lol

Ross Barkley has been released by Chelsea. He’s really gone off the boil though. Started out well when on loan with Villa, but it didn’t work out. And the time I thought it was an astute signing by Villa.

Another Deli Ali imo. Never realised early potential which is a surprise as initially he looked the real deal.
