Apparently according to many I was wrong to suggest VP should be replaced earlier this week. After today surely everyone agrees he needs to go, impossible to stay, Jeff also needs to go, at least this way it is sort of a fresh start, best we can hope for as Fosun are not going anywhere. Seems very unlikely but I hope someone with some sense will be looking at possible replacements. Act now and we have at least some chance and time to rescue things, still unlikely but a glimmer.

Fosun need to get a football guy in and Shi needs to go.

Of course VP has been a disappointment especially as we were all hoping for an upturn under his tenure. It appears, however, that on the pitch his tactics, team selections and substitutions are left wanting.

It does appear that VP and/or the squad aren't good enough but to prove that will require VP being replaced by someone who is, as only then can the players abilities be truly assessed. This clearly isn't working so any change should occur sooner than later. As for the quality of the Manager, the granting him a 3 year contract and the quality of the squad is 4 square the responsibility of Jeff Shi and the owners Fosun, who else could it be?

In truth this is a multi layered mess because even if they do bring in another manager and by some miracle we survive, it will all re-occur next season under Shi/Fosun. So why some on here seem prepared to absolve them preferring to dump it all on VP is a mystery to me. The overall responsibility is the decision makers and I think we've now reached the much predicted (by some) inevitable consequence of their actions and policies in recent years.

It's time for Fosun to go and take Jeff Shi with 'em.

Changes needed for sure. At the very least Shi has to go and be replaced by someone who can do the job rather than wait for someone higher to come in and decide.
Please Fosun, if you have any self respect, manage your investment efficiently!

Personally I don't blame the players, because they are just not good enough. Blame the person or persons responsible for signing them. They left it so late to strengthen that they scraped the barrel with what was availab!e. Hence only one makes the starting eleven. Plus when he had to bring Hwang on shows how desperate we are.

Guo needs to take affirmative action immediately if he does not intend to sell the club.

Sack Jeff Shi, Vitor and his band of merry men. Put a footballing person in place such a Monchi, Purslow etc and then get in a manager who actually knows what he's doing.

But did he need to bring Hwang on or did he choose to bring him on. Fer Lopez was say on the bench ready and available. So was Arokodare.

VP has stripped the ambition and adventure from all the players, most of whom don't seem to have a clue what his tactics are.
There are good players in the squad but the approach taken by VP nullifies any flair or commitment, he has managed to make each player ineffective whereas other managers can make ordinary players look good with the right approach. The best teams are greater than the sum of their parts whereas VP hasn't managed to make us much less than the sum of our parts. He needs to go, and soon.
