So yet again Wolves find themselves in the mire for what is in truth the 4th year in a row with a string of either failed managerial appointments or a failure to adequately back them. A series of annual fire sales of our best players every Summer due to commercial failure followed by panicked signings of replacements up to the last day of the window with players brought in who have no experience at this level, what can possible go wrong?
Is it Manager's tactics or maybe a lack of confidence as new players realise that this league really is another level or is the bigger picture that's constantly screwing the Club over? Do the owners belief that the January window and 'new Manager bounce' is all that's needed to keep us up? It doesn't work for the team and it doesn't work for the fans but does it work for them? Is it the Chinese Government telling Fosun to back off due to the current geo political situation and their strained relationships with the West? Is it the damage done to the Fosun Group post Covid and the subsequent need to restructure and consolidate? Or did Fosun get cold feet when they realised the likely costs of a European campaigns and adjusted their ambitions to ensure that didn't happen?
The lack of communication and a clear plan, beyond the obvious, all leading to such questions and speculation. but no clear answers. A Chairman who has admitted to being more interested in frickin' computer games than football and yet there are still some that will argue that the club doesn't need new owners, just a change of Manager. This is rapidly becoming toxic for one reason as their 'gravy tomorrow' bullsh*t has brought the Club to an inevitable and predicted, new low. Until Shi/Fosun are gone this club will never amount to a hill of beans as I can't see this particular leopard changing it's spots, have they no pride?

All so true Long.
My thoughts from yesterday.
A new low for our beloved Football Club.
Once again the pattern looks to be repeated, another manager frustrated and let down by the Ownership.
The manager - Tactics questionable, team selection questionable, clearly not happy with the summer transfer strategy. Will be gone shortly.
The Club - I just can't understand the Owners. Their management of the Club is difficult to follow. The token CEO now Head of Football as well?
When will the nightmare end?!

Comments above from Long and Rugeley pretty much sum up the shambles the club are in once again, no surprise which makes everything worse unfortunately. Unlikely that Jeff will make a quick decision on VP so things will just continue in the same way, if the performance is poor v Burnley things will turn very sour quickly from the stands. Surely at some point Jeff has to be replaced, his bosses must be thinking not this again year on year.
Have to feel a little for all managers having to put up with it, in saying this our football this season is poor, boring to watch, too slow and predictable and VP should be doing better.

Regarding a leader on the pitch.
We miss conor coady. Tbh.
Id give him a role with the coaching staff at once

At 2 million I would have bought Coady back even to sit on the bench, his experience, vocal support and experience is just what we are lacking

Coady would be a great idea if he could speak French, Spanish or Portuguese!
We need a competitive hungry billionaire owner and a CEO who lives and breathes football!
We gave away our best players during Summer, as usual, and we’ll limp in last to the finish line.
First the window, then the door.

I think his message would get across from his infectious voice alone, boS. let's be honest his scous accent is hard enough for English speaking players
Seriously though we are so lacking in leadership and direction its no wonder we've lost identity.

Anyone that's watched Connors interview about leaving will know that like most people he will never work for Shi again! He spoke about hearing through Sky that the club were considering bids/trying to move him on and just crying in his living room cause he was so shocked that he'd had to find out that way! Disgusting behaviour and frankly sums up why many players and managers don't seem to leave great terms!
