Rally hope we not daft enough to sell Larsen now, see Hwang may be off but only a loan, surely an obligation to buy would be better. If Larsen does go what little chance we have this season is gone, need more signings of quality in my opinion already to survive.

I don't think we would Banksy. I was reading a newcastle feed about izaak sulking and the knock on if he joined Liverpool. They'd got interest in Larsen, and according to them, Howe was sounding out his attitude with former clubs etc. It said wolves were looking for £67+m. and would Howe want to pay it.
Trouble is, who knows what Jeff may do if that amount was to be offered?

Hi Abbeywolf yes nervous what Jeff will do if offered a sizeable amount for Larsen. Squad as it stands is getting better, however as we discussed, ideally we needed this squad about 4 weeks ago. Hoping for a few more anyway, hate fighting against relegation, thought we may be better this season, still hoping ??

Keep hoping then Banksy but in the meantime prepare for a relegation battle because that is what we will have.
The only question is will we win it? Personally I would say the chances are 50/50 at best.
But if we do stay up, prepare for the same next season unless Fosun sell to a more ambitious owner.

Now being reported on E and S like this is an actual possibility! I don't think it will happen but if it does then the club really is beyond stupid! We already don't look like we can score in a brothel so if this actually happens then I really don't see us having a chance in staying up to be honest! Hopefully just paper talk ?

I hope JSL does stay, 60 million + to prize him away, Newcastle are the richest club in the world. If they really want him they will pay over the odds
