Hi Guys,
For those of you that 'Fosun bash' take a look at the article in Give Me Sport titled The best and worst owners in the PL rated 1-20. I realise it's probably a journalist opinion, but we came 10th. Article written 9th Dec 2024.

As you say Blackfords someones opinion, the last similar thing I saw put us circa 15th. As for Fosun bashing all policy and strategic decisions come from the top, which is why we are where we are.

I personally think Fosun have been led astray by Shi regarding Wolves, Shi is the main issue.

Not convinced by that article Black. They have Spurs in 15th and Man City in 1st. So a well run, self maintaining club which have recently built one of the best stadiums in the world and all without cheating are not even in sight of a club run by oil barons that have CLEARLY cheated but just haven't been caught yet?! Oh and Newcastles war criminal owners also in 7th, seems legit then! They also say Fosun have finished in a European spot on 'multiple' occasions, sadly that says a lot about the quality of research!
Not a pop at you Black buddy but I wouldn't call it an especially in depth view. In fairness I reckon I'd put Fosun somewhere between 12th-14th in the league, but then football ownership (by it's nature) is generally a barrel of bad apples! ??

It depends on the criteria that they are judging best and worst by I suppose.

Depends on the time period you are measuring them over.
Clearly if you take the entire period up to to day, then we have come from a mid table championship side to the Premier league, with 2 7ths, a Euro 1/4 and an fa cup semi, and thus they deserve to be reasonably well regarded, perhaps low to mid teens out of 20.
However if you take it from say Seville onwards you probably wouldn't be anywhere near as generous as none of the current 20 Premier League sides have declined as fast and as far as we have since then.
Indeed it is worth noting if we do go down we will not return to where we were before Fosun, a dull mid table Championship team, but given the mountain of debt the club now carries and what would be left of the squad, we may well be a club that could fall straight down through leagues as we did in the 1980s.
Given how likely this is I struggle to see which owners you place below Fosun and thus 20th seems fair.
ps Wanted to apologise to BB for failing to recognise his extremely kind and generous words in a post last month - really appreciate.
Before I starting posting I actually only knew one of the other posters and indeed now have still only met and become face to face friends with one other poster but - and Eds take a massive bow here! - I certainly regard the community here as good cyber friends.
To that note I hope you all, Eds and posters, enjoy the holiday period and, (for the posters at least), that Wolves can bring us the amazing present of a dramatic turnaround in our fortunes!
