That has to be it for O'neil, Lemina completly losing it too.

Hi all, I regularly watch these posts from the sidelines and never post; but feel I have to.
This is going to be unpopular, but I think we need to stick with GON. I remember a couple of seasons back Arteta was struggling at Arsenal, there were calls for him to go, but he stayed and are much improved.
I think what we need is stability, keep GON get a decent defender in Jan, nail down the set pieces and we'll be fine. We played well tonight, wrong decisions against us again, but that's not GON's fault.
That fire from Lemina at the end is exactly what we want, someone who doesn't want to shake the hand of the guy who's just took points away from us. There's sportsmanship, but passion is something we need.
The future remains gold, we need to get behind the team AND the manager and keep stability. COYW

Well Rated, on his record GON should have been gone some time ago. That he hasn’t gone suggests to me that any manager capable of getting us out of this mess is not willing to take the job principally because of the limitations imposed by Fosun which have been well documented by many in these pages. I may be proved wrong tomorrow but right now I think GON will be with us for some time yet. A situation that inspires little confidence.

Seems to be a growing consensus that it is likely the manager will be staying due to the footballing world seeing no manager at Wolves
will receive the support needed to improve the Club.
Fosun need to either provide proper Leadership for the Club or sell and very quickly!

Not from Johnny Phillips Rugeley, who seems to think things are in motion, but we know fosuns planning!.
If that planning is to keep GON but give him the funds do you think he should stay? And more importantly, as wandering asks above, can we realistically now get the points required for the accepted safety level.?
I personally don't think we can playing gons way, we need some stricter tighter no funny business leadership now. Shoring up the back line obviously the starting point.
My fears extend to a fire sale in Jan, stripping us the quality and maybe buying 'dead wood' as a last gasp. I seriously don't think Fosun want another season and we'll be down and out until a buyer comes to a serious rescue.

O'Neil won't even do any good in championship I'm afraid. His record is appalling for the players we have. They are decent defenders in their own right and proved so last year. Its the management of these players. The tactics are dreadful with no reading of the game whatsoever! Fosun can't be blamed for everything as the current squad should easily be mid table given the right motivation so that is down to the manager NOT fosun! We had our best years under Fosun due to a good manager! Hobbs is the culptit here!

Even if GON had the money he has to go.Sam Johnstone? What's that all about?
