Our situation is a disgrace. Two games into the season and we don’t know who is our goalkeeper and we don’t have an experienced central defender. You couldn’t make it up if it weren’t true. Three days to go in the window and we are rushing around like a blind dog trying to catch a frisbee in the dark. Of course we still support our team, but I can’t see it ending well.

Wolves said because they knew kilman was going that afforded them the chance to bring in the three at the start of the window. They didn’t think Neto would go, but he did. So why didn’t they think of replacing Max when they knew he was off? The number of times GON has come out and said we have lost our captain and yet nothing. I hope that it’s all smoke and mirrors and we have a few lined up ready to come in but I wish the transfer window would close the day before the season starts and don’t like how you are a few games in and players can still leave.

VaB I respectfully suggest that any quality at CB has gone already. By the way what happened to Elvedi?

If the dog is blind how does it make a difference if its in the dark or not?or will he be our new signing

Our goalkeeper is Sa, Innocent and the experienced central defender is Dawson.Come 1st September we will be able to vent forth (or congratulate!) with knowledge as opposed to hearsay. Don't know where you got your info from VaB but the intimation is that Neto was virtually told to pack his bags.A decision that has bitten us once already and will do so many times over bar miraculous events over the next 4 days.

If they HONESTLY didn't think Neto was going then they would have had to have been living in a flipping vacuum! Literally everyone pundit and fan alike (including on here) were saying we'd be very lucky to keep him this window! In fact I'd go a step further and say that at the start of the window the odds for us keeping Kilman were probably MUCH higher than the odds of us keeping Neto. Sorry but the suggestion that Neto leaving was a shock to a club that were clearly actively trying to sell him is actually quite insulting to the fans intelligence!

BullysBoy, you're not wrong. I'm sure the club came out at the end of last season and said that they expected one from Neto, Ait Nouri, Joao Gomes or Cunha to be sold so there really is no excuse. The Kilman sale was also 50/50 so again plans should have been made. All the noise was of Elvedi or Danso coming in. Seems that that was all media talk.
