Totally agree absolutely useless against a promoted side. I have no sympathy for Fuson they have bought it on them self's. You can't keep selling your best players and sign inferior ones year on year. Because if you do this is what happens now Fuson will be rubbishing them self's. Losing millions by getting relegated is not what they wanted but it's come back to bite them big style.

We played with 8 players today.

Everyone else tried their hardest to keep us in the game and competitive but unfortunately, Toti and Agbadou were awful and Bellegarde turned in Hwang for the day.

What I did notice is that the defence actually looked OK when Toti was on the left, Agbadou on the right and Mosquera in the centre. After 25 minutes, as we were winning, for some inexplicable reason, Mosquera and Agbadou swapped and from their, the defence collapsed.

Tchatchoua was itching to use his pace down the wing but no one gave him the ball. Lopez, despite the opening 20 minutes which were good, tailed off as did Rodrigo. Tolu never got any service.

It just isn't good enough.

I think we're doomed because Leeds were not very good but we insist on giving easy goals away and simply ain't good enough to break teams down.

Who is to blame? Well after the info this week, it has to be VP as this is now HIS squad with the players he himself chose.

A truly awful performance.

VP did not impress or inspire me one bit wandering, and his half time pantomime didn't seem to do a lot for the players. No leader, no common cause. We're going down.

A poor start certainly, not helped by late signings. However, I still feel that we have enough quality to stay up especially once the team fully gels. There are glimpses of what we can do when we are playing together, just not there yet. All this will be forgotten if we go on another mini good run

Problem is though Wandering it's just not that simple buddy! Your blaming VP now in the exact same way you blamed GON this time last year and sooner or later you SHOULD be asking the question 'is it the monkey or the organ grinders fault'!
After the game today VP has openly admitted that he doesn't know his best team, which is both not his fault but also ridiculous! He's been given (in terms of starting players) virtually half a team of Prem rookies then been told to go out and make it work (2/4 weeks into the season)!
When we talked/debated last year I pointed out to you that not replacing our most used defender in the team and club capain (Kilman) with a Prem ready replacement was suicide, and you told me it'll be fine. Then as we now know it wasn't fine and we wriggled our way out of it in Jan and 'got away with it'. But here we are again and we've done the EXACT same thing with both Cunha and RAN! Whilst I'm sure Wolfe and Arias have quality they are CLEARLY not Prem ready players. Arias hardly featuring and Wolfe being dropped from the entire team is a frankly damning indictment of thier ability to fill those roles!
I'm no saying VP gets a pass, cause your right it is now 'his' team. But I am saying that as a club we KEEP making the same mistakes over and over again and at some point you HAVE to ask is the manager constantly being set up to fail?! And this isn't a conspiracy theory BTW I don't think it's intentional! But I do think that we've just been run into the ground by an ownership group (Fosun) who care SO little by the comparitve tiny fraction that we represent on their general portfolio that they just don't really care as long as we aren't asking for money/being a problem! So much so that they've left the average work experience lad (Jeff) to take the flak and hold the fort despite him openly admitting that he'd rather play Fifa as Wolves than have to run a footy club! And (bizarrely) none of that's aimed at Jeff, he's just holding the fort and wishing he was back home designing a game rather than worrying about why the fans are shouting at him!
Somethings got to change buddy, cause we can't keep going round in circles as we make our way down the drain! I'm not even saying Fosun out (it's not that simple it can takes years to sell a club). I just want someone (Jeff) to give enough of a sh1t about this club to actually start running it like a Prem club again!
For example, they clearly knew Cunha was leaving when he signed his contract. So why then didn't they go out and sign Arias/Tolu in Jan?! It would have probs cost a little more, but they would have at least been able to get him up to speed to prepare for Cunhas exit. Then he would have been ready when needed and maybe could of made a difference?!
Like I say buddy the same mistake over and over! Something HAS to change! ???

Well articulated Bully.
Freud called making the same mistake again and again, "the repetition compulsion"
When we feel driven to repeat mistakes from the past in the hopes that this time the situation will work out differently, but it rarely does. To break free, you must identify the pattern.
Fosun take notice!

Bullysboy, I know ultimately Fosun are to blame but over the last week or 2 both Fosun and VP have backed each other's claims that the incoming players were the ones VP wanted.

The performance yesterday would have been as a result of the tactics that VP wanted to play. If the players ain't good enough (which they ain't) then surely VP must shoulder some of the blame as he himself identified them and asked the club to sign them.

But to be fair, the 2 biggest disappointments from yesterday were Toti and Bellegarde who VP didn't sign. Agbadou was awful once he switched with Mosquera.

We don’t have one quality player.
Mediocre at best, relegation looms, needs total reset.
On a plus point, my bet keeps winning ( wolves to lose )

We are down without doubt. No Cunha to salvage points. Players look lost and without fight already. All we can hope for is new ownership come next summer before The Championship.
