Tsingtao are huge they have a revenue of billions so let’s have them sponsor us. That and the Adidas shirt brand will help sell shirts in the Far East. We will need a star name to help sell them so I think the names we are talking about are just rumours and nuno will have his list as will Fosun . The difference between Neves and Martial is that Neves was out of favour at Porto due to loss of form, and Porto were desperate for money. there's a back story to all of our signings that if we look into them they don't seem as ridiculous.
Boly for instance wasn't wanted by Porto and had been offered out to various clubs, nobody was interested. He apparently didn't want to move to the championship but Nuno convinced him.
Costa and Cav, Both out of form and Benfica and Monaco were looking to sell, no takers other than Wolves.
We've taken huge steps but players like Martial are a few years away yet.

Hmm Martial isn’t as crazy as everyone thinks.
He ticks Fosuns boxes- team player, good investment, fast striker, young player, proven prem experience and an athlete. Plus a goal every 4 games coming from a sub.
Stumbling blocks will be cost, salary, no european football.
In a season after a World Cup at his age it might be a gamble that pays dividends.

Wolf- I seriously hope Wolves have NOT 'tabled the best bid' for Wilshire because it would be ENTIRELY against the league rules for ANY domestic club to make him an offer whilst Arsenal still have games to play and have clearly not given permission (as Wenger was quoted only today saying he suspects Jack will stay)!
Also on this one peeps seem to be missing a HUGE flaw in this fabricated rumour which is why now that he's back in the squad would Wilshire leave one of the biggest clubs in the country exactly? Is it not possible that he's just being clever and leaving the renewal to the last minute so he can a) see who his manager will be and b) more to the point get the highest renewal rate as that's how desperation works! Stu- top post, couldn't agree more! Peeps don't seem to get sometimes that whilst we are on the up there is no substitute (money or future potential) for being able to offer things like an established Prem credentials or European football. Especially the later when talking about players of Rashfords or Martials ability! Its like peeps think that they will just be desperate to go to the first club interested. Both/ either could end up at PSG or Real next year and I wouldn't be especially surprised! That said I believe even Jose is sensible enough to keep Rashford under lock and key. Not to mention the fact either/ both could steal the show this summer, both have the ability! A good WC for Martial and I think he could go for big money to either of those teams mentioned, as Jose will want a war chest again. Especially agree with your last line, we could get there bet there's a long journey to be had yet! Should be fun! COYW ;)
