We’ve apparently been given the Green light to sign Duja caleta-car I’m not going to get my hopes up anymore until there with Jeff holding a wolves scalf

{Ed002's Note - Duje Caleta-Car (CB) Newcastle and Wolves approached Marseille about a January transfer. There is sustained interest from West Ham with ex-Marseille scout Georges Santos joining West Ham. The player sees these clubs as a step down and wants Champions League football but that is not an option for him at this point in time. West Ham have messed around the lady who does the negotiations on behalf Marseille in the past, and she sees them as unprofessional, so it will be more difficult to reach any agreement and she has already rejected a proposal for a loan with an option to buy. But West Ham remain keen and are making efforts to patch up the relationship with Marseille to try and get the transfer done. She will be speaking again to Wolves if West Ham do not match their financial demands, which are very reasonable. Would need a hard sell of the Newcastle project. Marseille were very keen to move him on in January after the grief of last summer but nothing happened. Aston Villa have asked for talks. There have been talks with Crystal Palace.}

For another transfer window I’m now starting to get frustrated I have had complete faith in Fosun but this is now becoming ridiculous how do we seem to not have money to spend last season the bench looked okay for 1 game when everybody was fit we’re in desperate need of a striker 2 midfielders a right wing back and possibly a CB and I just can’t see us signing anyone at the moment we get linked with so many players and we never seem to sign them anymore if we stick with what we’ve got then it will be a bottom half finish for us this season. We’ve stood still in the market and building our team and I hate to say it but Villa throw 100 mil a season at least at it we can’t be all that far behind them in terms of revenue and being able to invest in the squad

All that we have hangs by a rotten thread. Will it break?
It’s never too early to panic!

2.) 28 Jun 2022 08:01:04
Having faith in Fosun is one thing BUAWS but faith in the people involved in getting transfers over the line is something else. All the secrecy doesn't work as three times this window alone others have either stepped in and pinched the player at the last minute or the player has decided against us.
To be frustrated by this is NOT being negative as this has been going on for several years now, for example, we've chased Palhinha for 2 years, appear to finally have him, then let him go to a newly promoted team for allegedly less money, why?
Ok, if it's because Neves is staying then tell us that to put a stop to fan discontent and conspiracy theories.
We have released/returned/loaned out about half a dozen good players from an already thread bear squad with, so far, nothing coming the other way. Let's hope there's something about to break, as others on here have suggested, if only for our collective sanity's sake.

3.) 28 Jun 2022 08:22:40
What goof has it done Villa throwing money around? Nothing from what I have seen, throwing money around won't improve us, getting the right players in will, it will take time to get our targets as most players are on holiday still for another week, I believe Bruno will get a couple of his players in, as fans we need to have a little patience and faith the negativity on here is unreal

4.) 28 Jun 2022 08:54:51
It's not negativity Sydney, more like frustration and let's hope Bruno gets more than a couple of players in given the numbers from the first team squad that have left.
I don't disagree with you about Villa, so far, but they are now signing good players, not championship quality like before. Wolves have had some poor windows of late, for whatever reason, with this one seen as vital to re-invigorate the team. Let's hope it is just holidays but if I was a player I'd be wanting to secure my future before hitting the beach, so I do doubt that's a valid reason.

5.) 28 Jun 2022 09:04:21
Sydneywolf

Just look at the last few transfer windows you can see why alarm bells are starting to ring, me included it's not so much
that no one has been incoming, it's the outgoings at present
= threadbare squad. A couple of seasons ago we reached a platform to spring from but now we have fallen off,and need to start again if Fosun still have the desire

6.) 28 Jun 2022 09:22:59
It's not negative to raise this issue. It's like saying you're not patriotic because you criticise it.
The last couple of years have seen a change in Fosun's attitude. They've gone from, "lets make Wolves great again" to "well may be soon". I'm not convinced this hasn't got something to do with domestic Chinese politics.

7.) 28 Jun 2022 10:11:41
Only the press suggested that we were trying for Paulinha.

8.) 28 Jun 2022 10:13:45
With injuries players loss of form coming back from injury, players not taking chances whang traore jiminez we would/could/should be in Europe now.

Fosun take all the blame for having small squad but other than meltdown last 10 games fosun nearly got us in Europe when a lot were fearing relegation.

Yes players left saiss and marcal they need replacing and there still time.
Just saying my basis for why I remain hopeful.

9.) 28 Jun 2022 09:50:17
My point on villa is year on year there improving and signing top quality players the last time we had any real excitement over a signing was Nelson Semedo if we’re honest they’ve also just announced they are to install 10,000 extra seats we were told to dream big I try to be positive as I can and il still go to every home game and a fair few away next season but they need to give us something to have the same belief that we can challenge for Europe and believe we can beat anyone on our day it sounds like we’re asking a lot but from the money we have left over from previous player sales and tv rights money surely we have 80-100 to spend without more player sales and seeing 2 keepers on the bench as happened in a couple of games last year I know where we’ve come from and I’m grateful to Fosun for it but I don’t want to see it ripped away now and some games last year we had some real stinking performances possibly due to lack of being able to freshen up the squad with the same quality as the first 11

10.) 28 Jun 2022 11:41:35
Winton, the Palhinha saga has been going on for a couple of years now. How or why would the press keep that one going if there was no truth in it.
If Wolves weren't chasing him why would they allow that rumour to perpetuate to the point that it has? They could simply have said ' no we're not after him' was my point.

11.) 28 Jun 2022 12:03:48
Probably the sane reason why we didn't respond to the annual Talisca rumours. Why would the club comment on a story that the media run just for clickbait?

12.) 28 Jun 2022 12:08:34
Even if Neves is going to stay I would still sign palhinha.
Moutinho is another year older, and can't go on forever, surely a succession plan is common sense.
Say if one of Neves or moutinho gets injured?
Cundle,as good as he looks and dendoncker ain't adequate replacement's, palhinha would compliment and strengthen what we already have.
How can we let Fulham jump in front of us if we have had him on our radar for 2yr?
Poor planning to blame for me.

13.) 28 Jun 2022 13:47:30
The press has rarely got things right regarding Wolves incoming players. They didn't have a clue when Mosquera arrived, nor RAN
and I seem to remember that when Neves and our other Portuguese ensemble arrived there was very little being said prior to their arrival. The club are very tight lipped regarding targets, which drives us all mad, and I'm sure that they don't leak info to the press who are left guessing just like the rest of us.

I think we were lucky to come away with a point just didn’t get going at all Ait Nouri gave the ball away a lot and saiss did a great job to back him up Sa Coady and Kilman were outstanding at the back Gilmore had the better of Moutinho and Neves really Trincao doesn’t suit us I don’t think great player but not for us would be brilliant as a 10 for a team that can afford to lose closing down and getting stuck in and Traore looks like he’s agreed to go elsewhere because he can make things happen but really doesn’t seem interested at all Dean Smith had good tactics they were solid at the back and broke quickly for me they got in behind both wingbacks far to easily if we can beat Burnley I would of took for 4 points offered before both games

Burnley will be a different game to Norwich, they are a physical side who are strong in the air would definately bring Traore back in side, Trincao needs to up is game if Bruno plays him looks lightweight to me and on performances would not pay £26million for him, also like to say whoever plays up front a big improvement needed

2.) 30 Nov 2021 08:52:58
Burnley will have tarwoski and Westwood out with suspension and Ashley Barnes out through injury 3 key players out for them.

Traore my mind is in catch 22,

Makes sense to play him for his physical presence but he wants out do we not play him looking at the bigger picture in the future.
Eg if Traore leaves January and we play Burnley after January we won't have Traore and would use other options so may do that tomorrow night and leave Traore on the bench again.

3.) 30 Nov 2021 12:11:25
I should of made clear it makes sense Traore physical presence as an option.

4.) 30 Nov 2021 13:59:49
Does the cheat Woods still play for Burnley?

5.) 30 Nov 2021 14:15:03

Great Post mate I'm with you in spirit agaisnt Norwich.
Great to read wolves fan enjoying themselves at the match.

My brother told me when we scored it was a great sight seeing the southbank bouncing and rocking and where akid was in the Steve Bull stand everyone was jubilant dancing and rocking.

Long may it continue.?

Palhinha is what we’ve been crying out for do you not remember how he bossed the midfield against ours for braga and created chances not to mention how good he was at the euros for me I think he will be an outstanding signing

From traore clips he looks quick strong box to box and puts a good tackle in looks like it could be a good signing if it were to happen and for not too much money

Realist are you Albion in disguise never have you got anything good to say and love it when we do badly as for Coady show him some respect he’s been allowed to choose his club and go on loan to make it easy for him. The club has given him the chance to play regular football to go to World Cup as he is no longer Bruno’s first choice centre back I wish him all the success in the world after the magnificent 7 years he has given us role model on and off the pitch and one of the best captains we’ve had.

Conner Coady is the heartbeat of our club and represents what we love and stand for hard work seems to genuinely love the club motivational gives his all and is great with the fans and community still one of my favourite wolves players and a fully fledged England international who has been great with the youth he’s the glue that holds our team together

There’s unrealistic expectations and there’s being able to have a full squad of players the so called billionaires told us to dream big and now it feels as if there back tracking we’re not asking for much 50-100 mil year on year spend on transfers in the prem unless your Norwich Burnley and Watford who coincidentally all just got relegated I wouldn’t mind we made a profit the last few windows we need it most now and nothing is happening
