Hi Guys,
Has anyone got any news on Cuhna regarding this injury?

I believe he was meant to have a scan today at the latest so fingers crossed no news is good news.

2.) 13 Feb 2024 19:52:25
Only seem rumours mate few weeks out, but take with pinch of salt.

3.) 14 Feb 2024 13:56:41
Not that it means much, but on Premirr League Fantasy Football site, it says at the moment that it's a 75% chance of him playing. Does also say hamstring injury.

4.) 14 Feb 2024 14:12:50
GON said it was a significant injury to his hamstring but he is already working on it and taking it day by day, week by week. I would not be surprised if he is out for 4-6 weeks.

From Wolves site,

Gary O’Neil has provided an update on Matheus Cunha, who sustained a hamstring injury during Saturday’s defeat to Brentford at Molineux.

The Brazilian was forced to leave the field of play in the 20th minute and undertook a series of tests and scans earlier this week.

Speaking on Wednesday, O’Neil said: “It’s a fairly significant injury to his hamstring. There’s no timeline on it. I’ve spoken to Matheus a lot and he just wants to keep pushing to get back as soon as he can.

“He’s started working on it already, so we’re just going to monitor it week by week, day by day, see how far he can come and how quickly we can get him back. He’s keen to get back out there as soon as possible.

“It’s obviously a big blow to us, to the team and Matheus because of the work he’s been doing – the form he was in was exceptional. These things happen, every team suffers injuries. Channy was gone for over a month with the Asian Cup and we managed to keep ploughing on and we need to do the same without Matheus.”

Well that's Cuhna out for at least 6 weeks. The others need to step up now. Bellegarde in particular as it's a great opportunity.

I've been reading a few posts re The E word. If we got there is it too soon, could we retain our players etc. personally for me if we did manage a route in by whatever means it's never too soon. Great for the players, increases the club profile, increases revenue both from the competition and makes us more attractive for investment. It also makes us more attractive for new signings. i'm humble opinion to be successful you have to keep pushing. Under Nuno it was fantastic with a small squad. If we don't make the same mistake again who knows where we can push onto with this team. I'm probably getting way ahead of myself, but at the moment we are a great team to watch. I look forward to every single game regardless of the opposition.

Totally agree Blackfords, small squad or not Wolves are a hard team to beat and now we've got back to scoring ways I see no reason to fear anyone.

Like you, I now look forward to the next game a bit like when we first came up under Nuno. As for retaining players the E word will certainly help along with the enhanced financial position that and a subsequently higher league position will bring.

Sponsors either need high profile and/or the potential to attract media attention as of a result of elevated performances. If Wolves re-solidify themselves back in the top half via the latter then the former will follow. I always believed that the damage done by Shi/Sellars would take 3 years to correct, but by the end of this season we may well be ahead of schedule.

Not good news for S Korea, but Hwang should be back with us soon.

If we could win tonight we go 9th @ 32 points. Above United on good but equally same points as Brighton and Newcastle in 7th.

We could end up in 8th if we scored by a big enough margin, 3 I think blackfords. If it was for VAR decisions we may already have be there and higher. Big games on that front then tonight and Sunday would be great to take 3pts from them, 6 and we would be looking up. Hope it's a cracker tonight with the home support as loud as ever, and I'm going a 3-2 wolves. COYW.

Every time we get the possibility to jump up the table we seem to fail. Time for a change. 3-0 Wolves

Does anyone remember the incident with Michael Kightley against Forest at the Mol some years back when he scored. I can't remember exactly but I think a Forest player was down and they thought the ball should have been kicked out, but Kightley scored. It caused a riot almost.

Very poor performance today I thought, however don't the 'so called' experts say a sign of a good team is playing poor and still win. Well we did both. Onwards and upwards.

Results went for us today, so we need to beat Sheffield tomorrow. I did predict a Wolves victory 2-0, but I'm feeling more positive now. Going 4-0 with goals from Hwang, Neto and Sarabia.
