This time next year the likes of Palace, Villa, Fulham and Forest will be in the same position that we are in now.

Maybe our plight and that of the above clubs will highlight how inaccessible it is for the average person to go to matches due to spiralling costs.

The average wage of a PL footballer is £70k per week. This is being funded by us fans with our willingness to pay for tickets, buy the strips and pay TV subscriptions.

£120 for me and my son to watch a game us too much. The rich will get richer and the poor will go bust trying to keep up the pace.

Greylegwolf, I am baffled by your comment. Lopetegui wanted to go- why are you saying ‘that’s how they treated him for keeping them up’?
Does anyone not get that all clubs have to abide by rules and no one had treated this manager badly.

He spent money in January and not able to spend this summer so do your job and show people what a great coach you are. But no, he spat his dummy out and basically said I can’t coach if you don’t buy me lots of expensive players!
Good riddance if that’s what he is like!

Having been going to watch Wolves since 1973 as a 6yo, I have to thank Fosun for providing us with the best 3yrs of my watching experience under Nuno, the Europa League and giving us the chance to watch Neves, Jota, Moutinho and Raul.

But now if the reasons for JL's departure are true and that the promised Plan A and then Plan B were removed then Shi and Fosun please get out of our club.

To promise an elite manager that money would be spent in the summer and then to change that to targets between £8m to £15m and then change that again to free transfers only is disgusting.

Huge huge respect to JL for keeping us up and for staying throughout pre season in those circumstances and getting the squad as ready as can be.

What a shambles.

Agree Tommo1970. He had the nucleus of a good squad. He should have utilised the loan market, proved how good he was then used the funds next summer.

But for me, the rich will get richer and clubs like Wolves will struggle to get near.

Don’t believe Balugue mate, it’s his best mate. JL brought in 8 players during his reign and only lost Neves from his starting 11.
Ask Moutinho and Jimenez how they were treated by him, ask Guedes and Podence!
JL bombed them out, no one else!
I say again they bought in 8 players for him and only 6 squad members have been sold or not resigned.
He divided the squad.

It’s been a while since I posted. I have been reading my fellow Wanderers frustrations. Tommy I agree with you and I just compare Julian or should I say Judas Lopetegui with Shaun Daish. I do not like Daish I do not know why but I do respect him as a really good football person, he once quoted “it’s your job just do your job” and that’s what I cannot forgive Julian for. Yes the financial parameters may have changed however the squad he had is well capable of a top ten finish if injuries or suspension do not hit. Wolves owners courted Lopetegui for years and waited patiently for him to make sure his Father recovered before reproaching again.
I’ve supported Wolves for over 50 years taking this around the country when ever my business meant I had to relocate. I fear our beloved game is now operated by greedy agents, greedy sponsorship, greedy financial biased owners, players who kiss the badge and the next day ask for a transfer and now greedy or self serving managers. However one thing will not change and will not be beaten is the true supporter. Fight Wolves fight
