Just want to say thank you to all the referees in Premier League. It looks like you have managed to cure me for a lifelong addiction to English football. This is no fun anymore. Thank you.

Making the game 16 a side hasn’t helped, Manager’s make changes just for of it, some even take off experienced midfielders who’ve just been handed the captain’s armband, bring on an extra defender and still can’t defend.

Strongly agree, everytime the refs/VAR have a good week they follow it with the kind of turgid refs display we had this wkend! Footy just feels a bit broken to me these days ?

You are right BB, the romance of the game is disappearing.all about generating money. Following the American Model for professional sport.
I guess it is called progress, doesn't mean I have to like it!

Agree BB. Interesting that in general all retired Premier league referees think it was a penalty and a red card. Madley was clearly too far away to be as sure as he made out which makes "clear and obvious" laughable frankly. The novices on the VAR were no better. Julen writing a letter of complaint would achieve nothing, so yeah it all feels a bit broken. Pretty fed up atm tbh!

The only good thing for me is I think he may go to a back three, which we have the players that perform best in that formation it should at least stave off relegation. He can change the system and bring the players in the summer.
