Apologies to whoever suggested Ruben Amorim as a potential replacement if Bruno Lage doesn't get this team firing on all cylinders. However, Liam Keen E&S has also mentioned that name recently, apparently a bit of a winner.
Not sure if he's heard something sniffing round the club or like many in his profession put two and two together.
Although Lage will get more time it would be logical for the club to be taking stock of who's out there, just in case. Anyone else excited by the prospect of Amorim if Lage does go?

I know nothing about Amorim but if I did I wouldn't be excited as my thoughts are always with Lage eventually getting it right.
If he doesn't then I will show interest in potential replacements.
Guess I just haven't got to that stage yet but acknowledge that it may happen.

We need to aim higher and maybe move away from the Portuguese model?

I could possibly regarding Lage be like painting stripes on a horse thinking he is a Zebra.
But will back him for now.
Years back when we were just getting or just back in the premier there was a guy on express and star comments lambasting our club for too many foreign (Portugal) players signed.
I bet he must be even more miffed at present.
If it works and we crack on and start to get results as Lage predicts then sure it will outlay the vast Portuguese contingent.

Weĺl these figures were made available recently. I haven't verified them but if nothing else it shows how patient Fosun and the fan base have been so far. Granted most of these managers were operating at second or third tier.

Final 14 games of every Wolves manager in the last 30 years (league only):

Turner: W6 D3 L5
Taylor: W4 D4 L6
McGhee: W4 D4 L6
Lee: W3 D4 L7
Jones: W4 D5 L5
Hoddle: W6 D5 L3
McCarthy: W3 D4 L7
Solbakken: W3 D2 L9
Saunders: W5 D1 L8
Jackett: W4 D6 L4
Zenga: W4 D4 L6
Lambert: W7 D2 L5
Nuno: W4 D3 L7
----------------
Lage: W1 D5 L8

Unless something starts to click soon (before any potential negotiations with an alternative coach -whoever that may be- develop past a point of no return) I can't see Bruno's tenure lasting much longer. I do hope that someone is lined up if Fosun decide to go down that route.

Impressive research there Arddunby. I think both the club and the fans have recognised that the change in style, that inevitably meant a change in personnel will take time to start to click.
The problem being the Premier League is far less patient and that may force the owners' hand. Hope not, but those stats don't lie, next weekend should tell us far more than the last one.

Great Post Arddunby,
I think if Lage does turn out not getting the results he envisages and fisun replace him then in all honesty fosun will lose a bit or lit of creditability.
This why I think Lage will pull it off,I hope so.
Graham Turner do I remember correctly he was sacked after getting us to the Q/F of the fa Cup?
We lost 1 -0 to Chelsea.

Treating my bro to a carvery and I mistook the bread sauce for horseradish ruined half my dinner lol I'm just a bad luck merchant.

Good posts, thanks. I think Lage needs some more time due to the critical injuries, but I fear that time is not a commodity readily available at the moment.
