The ref today was appaulling, the Premier league really does need to take a long hard look at the officials and start punishing them for poor performances.

VAR again tho rated, 3-4 mins to half decide it was a pen. Agree tho the ref was a mystery at times.

It was touch and go though Abbey and having seen it again on Match of the Day, I think that we had luck on our side for once where VAR is concerned. I'd be pretty annoyed if that was given against us.

That's true mate,but it's a case of swings and roundabouts,I'm a believer in things that go against you,will even themselves out over the season,but as per normal,great talking points,five more goals for traore,?????

VAR could not really say no to the penalty there were 2 clear shouts the first the one given the foul on Alt Nori, the second just seconds after the foul on Aly Nori a foul on Podence.
If VAR had said no I think serious questions would be asked if VAR was fixing matches.
I'm sure I saw the ref come of the Saints bus too.

They didn't show it on MOTD, but I'm sure the tackle on Podence after that RAN tackle would have been a pen, he was completely upended.
