Adama has rejected the latest contract offer by Wolves believed to have been £110kp/w he will leave the club at the end of the week, Wolves have left the contract on the table for him but it was their final offer, proof he don't want to be here good riddance to the one trick pony too.

I agree that if he doesn't want to be here there's not much to be done. All I would say is that it's not as simple as saying good riddance cause weather we rate him or not is irrelevant as Lope clearly did! And more to the point he will need replacing and whilst £110k is a big contract we will now have to find some of that wage (say half) AND a transfer fee, which is a worry as we don't seem to have a lot of either! Over to you Mr Hoobs ?

Much more than one trick Rated and I don't believe he's been offered anywhere near the sort of money you are quoting. If he goes then fair enough but he deserves better than a "good riddance" in my book. Save vitriol like that for someone like Guedes who really isn't fit to wear the shirt.

I have to agree Old, having seen the large amount of work Adama has done in the community during his time with us regardless of what peeps think of him on the pitch he is clearly a decent guy. I'll be sad to see him go one trick or not he's still one of the only players we have left that actually scares defenders ?

I think keep him solely on what you say bullysboy in your first post in this feed.
Also if he did sign then he would be a saleable asset in the future.

Agree its good his work in the community but the fans want (ed) him to reach his potential not only in fits and starts.
In my eyes with his talent be like what the superstars do practise practise practise his crossing his shooting etc.
Could easily do charity community work and share it along with extra training sessions.

But he goes as expected personally I will have a huge sigh of relief for my own reasons I do not wish to share.

If players don't want to be here, we thank them for their service and say goodbye, get as much money as we can for them and then replace them with hungry players who want to wear the shirt.

We need to let Lopetegui mould the squad how he wants. He obviously wants Adama to stay but the player wants a new start so goodbye and good luck.

If we're totally honest, the squad needs an overhaul as there is a reason why we scored to few goals. Not all of the blame lies with the strikers. They can't score if they aren't getting the service from others.

Love Adama, works hard and much improved from initial season.Hope he stays.
Coady not able to play in a 4,sad to say but best he goes but hurts me to say it.Never good to go back once left.
Let's give Fabio a go if he wants to wear a Wolves shirt and think the lad from Coventry would be good.
No one seems to mention Netto,if he is fit could be very dangerous.

It may be Waterloo that nobody is mentioning Neto because,if they are like me,they feel that he's now had ample time to show that he's at least the equal of the player we saw tearing up defences before his serious injuries. Unfortunately, he's cut an extremely frustrated figure out on the pitch because most things he tries simply do not work out and he continually runs down blind alleys, head down and seemingly oblivious to the teammates around him. Add to this the loss of about two yards of pace and you have a player who is in a make or break position in terms of his future career. Let's hope it's make because he has tons of talent but the football world is littered with hyped up players who never really made it after suffering serious injury. Although older, we've others in a very similar position at Molineux (Jonny and Jiminez although both were initially able to realise their potential).

Some players have talents that shine against certain defenses and are stymied against others. Very few can be excellent against all kinds.
If Adama hasn't learned to cross the ball yet, I would blame the coaches for being incompetent.
Near the end of the season, he seemed to be crossing the ball lower or looking to pass on the ground. Why was that not tried 5 years ago?
My guess is that Nuno expected everyone to adapt to his style rather than be a little flexible with a unique talent. He would probably expect Messi to adapt to his style of counter-attacking football.

We will probably never know the offer made to him and so it is really speculation. If he doesn't want over 100,000, if that is true, then thanks and good bye.
