Joao Gomes' situation is set to be sorted before the end of Friday.

Flamengo and Wolves are finalising details for the transfer.

Is that from TalkingWolves (via Twitter)?

Yes but 3 other sources have stated it too.
Anything I see from TW I cross check with several other sources too to ensure, but ofcourse even that isn't 100% guaranteed as we know Wolves often do their business quietly.

Good stuff, TW isn't 100% reliable. Interesting that others are tweeting similar.

Let's hope this does happen Rated but after several attempts to sign South American starlets, being stitched up there seems to be the norm.
Having said that we now have a more impressive management throughout, so that must help.

There still seems to be a lot of players being linked to Wolves and I read somewhere that Wolves might actually sign as many as 9 players in this window alone. Probably clickbait, but I also read initially they planned conversations with 15 different players so who knows? Please let one be a striker.

Long- it says at the end of the E and S article about Gomes that it is expected he will be the last signing. Now I'm not saying they are always right but with the money we've spent I'd be amazed if we made any more, other than maybe a development player for the u21s ?

Still trying to bring in a cf and RB bullys mate.

Thanks for all the updates on this one @Rated RKO, happy days, I’ve got a feeling Gomes will be a great addition.

If so, that could be Carvajal in the summer (RB) and maybe Antonio (CF) who is currently in talks to leave West Ham this window, Rated/Billy's.

I'm not sure we're finished yet.

Bully's sorry.

Long- wish it was so fella but there is no way WHU are letting Antonio go to a relegation rival when Ings has just been ruled out for the foreseeable. Well not unless they sign anither striker themselves that is?
Rated-where you reading that fella? Not saying your wrong buddy, who knows this window but I've seen nothing from the club saying that. Just seems to be on forums to me, like I say though would like to be wrong ?

I wouldn't be too sure about that Bully's. If West Ham are open to selling him (not loaning) as alleged, he has 18 months left on his contract.

As you've pointed out they now have Ings who won't be injured forever and West Ham who themselves have spent a fortune this year may choose to claw some back.

Antonio himself is not saying he will or won't leave but he's said conversations are taking place about him leaving, but not mentioning Wolves specifically.

Always remember Bullys mate the club never reveal anything until the deal is done, I see things on Twitter but rather than post the first thing I see (which catches the genuine rumour posters out) I tend to do a in depth search to check if more than 3 so called itks are reporting it, if more than 3 are reporting it that's when I post here mate.
Antonio has said he wants to leave West Ham and join Wolves so he might be the cf we get in, RB i've not seen any names mentioned.
But one or two are suggesting Gomes will be the last signing this window.
