The representatives of Stuttgart striker Sasa Kalajdzic were at Molineux as Wolves drew 1-1 with Newcastle United.
Sky Sports News has been told they are now in discussions with Wolves officials over the transfer of the player. A deal has yet to be agreed between the clubs.
Wolves have had a bid worth £12.7m plus add-ons rejected. Stuttgart are thought to be looking for closer to £21m.
Personal terms are not expected to be a problem.
Kalajdzic was not in the squad for this afternoon's match at FC Koln after he asked to be left out.

Kalajdzic is decent don't get me wrong but he's been injury prone in the past with ligament injuries just hope there done with we seem to have a lot here

We are all holding our breath waiting for a new striker without understanding that any striker needs the right sort of service. Raul was presented with one chance yesterday which he put away albeit disallowed, and if a new striker gets the same service his goal tally will be roughly the same. It's the approach that needs to change to give any striker a chance of bagging some goals.
