Wolves and Real Sociedad have now reportedly reached a principle of agreement for the permanent sale of Goncalo Guedes

Guedes never wanted to come to Wolves, just like Cutrone. I've no problem with either player, but you'd prefer a player like JSL who said on signing "I'm willing to risk breaking my teeth playing for Wolves".

Great for both parties.
I don't blame Guedes technically he is very good but he was brought as a number 9 when he had mainly played as a winger in Spain and Portugal.
Guedes also tried in his first season with us and last season just training and being available when he needed to be. He was part of two squads that kept us up after difficult starts from bad management decisions from Bruno and Gary.
This was the same with Cutrone and Fabio Silva really young players that were developing at the clubs they grew up supporting and sold for financial gain. Both very good players but weren't supported and given a chance to develop in the right enviroment.
Cutrone should have been used more he could have played as a wide forward or as front two with Raul but Nuno preferred Traore.
Saying Cutrone is the worst signing under Fosun is unfair he lost his dad and he was homesick.
Fabio Silva also gets lots of negative views and reports over the years haven't done him any favours.
But he really tried in his first season but was always compared to Raul (which is mad).
Just glad the club have come on from these years as Andre, Gomes, Toti and Larsen seem to really enjoy the chances they have at the moment.
Hopefully Lima, Lopez, Sanches, Wolfe, Mane and Lopes push on this season.

It’s now emerged on several sites that the price for Guedes is £5.2m (€4m + €2m add ons) for a player who didn’t want to join Wolves and cost £27.5m! No doubt a hefty sum went to Jorge Mendes. Also Tommy Doyle off to the Blues for a reported £10m but please don’t forget City hold a 50% sell on clause. We really are bargain basement!

Have to agree Vinatge, seriously what was the point in even selling Guedes for that pathetic fee?! Yes we save his wages but we can barely afford a decent loan deal to replace him with that ridiculous fee! Genuinely think that with two years left on his contract we would have been better keeping him/ using him in the squad then selling him at that ridiculous price, not even all up front reports saying £3.5m up front so cheaper than some loans! Peeps want to tell me how grateful we should be to Jeff again?! ?
I am genuinely starting to worry about our chances this year, our squad is definetly weaker than last season and we were barely good enough to survive last season! Still time left in the window but increasingly feels like VP is going to need a miracle to get this team where it needs to be?! ?

Maybe someone has added a 50%+ sell on fee to Guedes’ contract so we can cash in once he grows a pair and does what he’s paid for miraculously!
