Wolves have made a bid for Guessand for around £25m Sterling but also has interest from fenerbache and Brighton unclear if they have bid but players preference is premier league one to watch this week

It doesn't matter who we sign or for how much.

If we buy a youngster for £20m, the same posters will say that we're wasting money on unproven and inexperienced players.

We buy an experienced 27 year old for £20m, the same fans claim the club are either looking to buy cheap or players past their prime.

Love the way some of you still say "We" when the club do anything, there is no we since Fosun took over, it's them and us.

Personally, I use 'we' when referring to the Club but 'they' when referring to the owners. The Club and it's fans were here long before the owners and will be long after, so I see the two as separate especially since they effectively distanced themselves.

Equally the same posters will continue to tell us all that selling our best players year on year is a solid way to grow a squad, despite our league position suggesting otherwise. Then by Xmas they will be blaming which ever poor manager is in charge at this point, only to hail the 'saviour manager' bought in Jan to save the day (never mind the fact that this one gets some actual transfer budget unlike the last guy). Rinse and repeat this process every 2-3 seasons and you should be fine.
It's almost like this is an opinions forum and everyone has different opinions eh?! ??

Greetings Long, agree.there is 'our' Club and there is 'their' business.
ps
Looks like they have dispensed with a Head of Football, created an additional 'strategy dept', with all football departments now reporting directly to the Owners 'representative' in the UK.
As always, I will travel optimistically.

It's literally Groundhog Day Bully's, every season of late. However, have lessons been learnt in Shanghai? The local media say 'yes' but the sales of Cunha and RAN are telling us 'no'.

Ok, every club loses players, usually for football reasons or to ward off a PSR breach and that's fine. My question is why have Wolves reorganised the football management side to such a great extent. Are they gearing up for a more ambitious approach or is to squeeze even more blood out of the same stone.

Hope it's the former but so far this window it points to the latter. It's what happens going forward that now matters.

Hi Rugeley, let's hope your optimism isn't wasted but if it's, as I've described it before, same play different actors then we're still screwed, imo. As you suggest Jeff does appear to be re-engaged on the football side, hence the re-emergence of Mendes which may be a reason to be more hopeful.
