I was thinking ahead a bit and assuming, whether it's under VP or not, we survive another relegation battle what happens next Summer? I think we probably will because let's be honest we've had more practice now than any team in football history.
Given that there will be yet another hole in the accounts by then who will the Club sell to bridge that gap and given the seemingly diminished performances of most, how many will it need to be to raise the required funds?
In this self inflicted race to the bottom will we even have any standout players left to panic sell. If the worst happens how many will want to leave or will they stay and be relieved to play at a level they can cope with.
This truly is a shocking state of affairs, a sort of self fulfilling prophesy, which has been predicted for some years now, the end result being where we are today facing a continuous year on year fight against relegation, inevitably failing at some point, that's a statistical inevitability.
Even if the 'penny has dropped' is it too late as the quality of player we now have has diminished to the point of no return? Are Shi/Fosun really still that clueless after all these years, do they even care? Has VP been sold a pup or have they found yet another Manager who flatters to deceive, there's so many layers to this it's hard to tell anymore?
My conclusion, for what it's worth, Fosun need to sell Wolves. It's that simple and it's primarily for two reasons, firstly, their lack of financial input has put the club into a nosedive and secondly, even with the required levels of investment they are seemingly incapable of knowing how to spend it. That day has come, my concern is for the Club, not them.

Didn't Jeff Shi say last week that the club have no financial worries. So its clear that Fosun have decided to ruin the club simply for profit.

Wandering - Firstly I don't think we can take anything he says with anything other than a large pinch of salt.
However he may well be referring to the fact that in the extended financial year just ended Wolves made vast profits from player sales - Cunha and RAN were both additionally shoehorned into the year at the end.
Consequently from a PSR perspective Wolves almost certainly have no problems.
However from an underlying profitability - before player sales - it is highly likely that Wolves are still massively unprofitable and from a cashflow perspective it may be no better - Wolves have bought a fair few players as well.
Long hard to disagree with anything you say other than if they don't sell this year it is quite possible that they will have nothing to sell.
The club may have no issues re PSR but with relegation causing turnover to plummet I am not certain if it will be possible to re-base the finances fast enough and Fosun far from having its loans repaid may be forced to either inject substantial further sums or throw in the towel and file for insolvency.

I've voiced all along my concerns that they were cashing in, ready to go. I know Tfig will explain the losses or drop in values that relegation would bring, but I honestly think Fosun are running us down on purpose.
Ah but, I hear some will say, look how much we spent in the transfer window, money recycled from sales I'd answer, even leaving a small profit? I don't know.
The players we have brought in are not of the quality we need, or in some cases not fulfilling the roles we'd expect them to, why? I don't know.
Th VP contract is a little mystifying given our points from games ratio and the defeats in friendlies, we've retained a manager come what may, to be blamed, maybe happy in the knowledge he'll be blamed, I don't know.
The general gist is that we're in a pickle, staring the championship in the eyes. VP seems confident it'll come right, Fosun happy in their choices, and if Jeff's to be believed, if he said what was written, about a meeting the London wolves fans, then fosun will spend in January, how much, who on, who'd want to come, I don't know.
Maybe VP will oversee his last game at spurs this weekend if results continue, would Fosun have the guts to do that? I don't know.
Perhaps a miracle will occur whereby everything gels, and we go on another amazing run and get to the top of the Lower half and everyone can breathe a sigh of relieve until the circus starts again. I don't know.
I don't know!

I for one wanted moyes. West ham would welcome him back and look at Everton now. For vp to not know his 1st eleven 6 weeks into the season is unacceptable.there's a lot of unhappiness in this team and it's spreading. 4 or 5 new signings aren't good enough.

I was quoting from the post by Deep Throat last week between Shi and London Wolves.
'Regarding recruitment, there are no PSR [Premier League Profit and Sustainability Regulations] worries at the club and therefore this did not have any impact on decision making when considering transfers. Equally, there was no policy of 'sell before we buy' in place, which gave the recruitment team a clear field to operate in. Of course, Wolves wanted to bring new players in as early as possible to give Vitor the longest time to work with the player and that the players to be able to settle down at their new club. This was not always possible due to the market and the reluctance of other teams to let their best players go, equally, the end of the window was also challenging as clubs were reluctant to let players go so close to the closure of the window which did not give them time to replace them.'

Why do people just ignore the facts here?
