Hard to know what to say?
We have just been smacked for 6 by what I expect to be a fairly ordinary upper mid table side.
However it's probably a very good thing!
The transfer window closes next weekend and if we had bumbled through today and next week the view that our current strategy was ok and we did not need to make, what in my opinion are, the clear and obvious changes that I have outlined previously, may have been thought sufficiently credible that Jeff would not realise that it is, in my opinion, a deeply flawed view that will lead to Wolves, battling possibly unsuccessfully, relegation.
Hopefully he now knows differently! Fortunately he still has a week to undo the errors of the last few weeks - albeit that it will be a very hard job and one I suspect that will be nigh on impossible to achieve entirely and will be very expensive.
However if you think staying in the Prem is expensive see how much relegation costs!
Many things are opinions, indeed even the idea that we can't play Yerson and Toti as a CB pairing is an opinion. It is also an opinion that we didn't need to replace Dawson (who may well be done) and Kilman.
I know many believe Yerson is the replacement but whilst I am hopeful that he will have a succesful career at Wolves it is my opinion, that relying on a kid who has never kicked a ball in the Prem to carry/lead the defence is a massive gamble!
He may prove over the season that he is a cross between Bobby Moore and John Terry but he may not, especially with another very young and, being kind, raw partner. This is, again my opinion, not the level of risk that a well run club should be taking!
However what is not an opinion, but a fact, is that last season without Neto we collected points at a rate that would have put us in a relegation battle and seemingly have chosen to put ourselves into that position for the entire new season!
So either our finances are significantly worse than thought and we had to sell Neto or, as I said before, they simply don't understand what is going on.
If it is the later today should help them understand!

Good post TFIOG, I suspect there's more than a few of us hoping you're wrong but probably realising that you're not. I think there were tactical errors in today like the 4 at the back and some personnel failings like RAN going walkabouts instead of covering his area. Listening to GON afterwards I think he felt very let down by some of his players performances and lack of adherence to his plan.

However, have Fosun gone too far? We got out of jail last season but to me the squad is considerably weaker this term with them having sold a key CH and our game changing attacking forward. Why would anyone believe that doing that would have no affect on performances and therefore, results?

Maybe, this has done us a favour long term and has been a massive wake up call, I certainly hope so.

GON needs to learn that Wolves are not a team that can play with a back 4. They havnt got tha players to play that system. Considering the last 10 games last season and start this season that's 1 win in 12 games.
RELEGATION FORM. Sackable Form Too!
