I think as he says it is a mutual thing, better to just let him go, in lesser leagues he might shine, but not in Premier, I like him, but he appears a little slow

Too slow, no physical attributes, and doesn't appear to have an eye for goal despite being a striker. In short the sooner he goes the better. Obviously we'll lose money, but let's get him off the wages bill.

Prestonwolf I don't think Fabio's comment was meant in a spiteful way, it's clear for all to see the move didn't work out for both parties, I assume that's what his comment was based on.

If the move had of worked out and he was getting us 15+ goals a season he'd have a completely different take on it.

Bottom line is: beware Jorge Mendes. It seems a lot of his players go for big money and the deals don't work out.
