RAN - Apparently Liverpool interested.
Personally I think RAN is excellent and we should hold out as long as possible. Just hope it doesn't turn his head.

It's starting already the transfer murmurings and its only November still.
Agree Blackfords hope it doesn't turn Ait Nouri, s head.
Think with how GON is doing so well the improvement of our players will rise.

I'm.happy with GON and the uplift within the fanbase.
In the summer we can address the areas within the squad that GON feels needs strengthening with I imagine more funds to play with than in this up and coming January transfer window.

Be nice to hear a statement of intent from fosun to their intentions of ground improvement and any other areas that fans feel they want to know.
But as fosun keep things to their chest its a good thing that our team is going in the right direction.

Thinking about N.Fraser next season could be a break through season for him.

Nah get rid Bueno is far better he can cross a ball, lay off a decent pass and defend better than RAN.If we can get decent money for him take it

Black, Phil, the Manager - that is the million dollar, ( hopefully several million), question: "how much could we get for him". Note also of course that we have a "deal" on him that means wee don't get all the cash.
So for me there are 3 factors:
1) Is Bueno (or anyone else we have/believe we can get) better/as good and does he fit the style we want better than RAN ( RAN is V good carrying the ball with pace but as yet is not really solid in either box - Semedo light!)
2) How much can we clear for him after paying off his old club and how much of that is FFP positive.
3) Do we actually need to sell anyone either for FFP purposes or to fund investments in other areas and will selling RAN meet those requirements?

Arddunby 1 - good point and backups in several areas maybe part of the "investments" required. I would hope though that we could find genuine "backups" - perhaps youngsters not quite ready for a full season in the Prem but capable of filling in occassionally if required (?) -for v modest sums but that may be optimsitic?
I would also hope that we could find/have versatile players who can cover more than 1 place so perhaps we only need a squad of 17/18 rather than the traditional 2 for each spot. We are a medium sized team and prob can't afford Prem quality back ups across the entire squad?

Good point arddunby, imo beuno is a better LB gets up the field can cross and, if you've seen him in the 23s before his breakthrough, can score goals from positions RAN hasn't. I suppose toti could cover given we've the other Beuno yet to come in at the back. But as thfig asks what money would we get? And do we need to sell?

I think Ait nouri is needed/wanted for the whole season as I think it's possible to get a left back in in January but I feel January is for us to buy or get loanee in and not sell half way through the season.
