Delort has signed for Wigan. Delort was unveiled before the game against birmingham infront of the wigan fans, match of the day live radio reports.

Another striker we have missed out on. We are running out of time and targets with the transfer window closing this monday.

1.) What's really annoying is that he actually looks quality! Please Kenny we need a proven goal scorer at this level before the transfer window closes, we can't rely on Dicko and Sako all season.

Norwich drew 2-2 against Celta Vigo in their pre season friendly so it should be interesting what result Wolves get.

Our first choice back four all have Championship experience. As for pace, Ricketts and Golborne can both get forward. Or would you like Naylor back again?

Interesting too to see how well we compete against one of the better teams in the division, whatever the score.

3.) Just replying to a few above posts, firstly, I don't want to sell batth as he is probably our strongest defender but there is a rumour that villa are planning a £5million bid for batth if vlaar goes, also, I'm not a pessimist, I'm a realist, and you can't honestly say that we shouldn't take defensive changes into consideration when stepping up a level like this.

£5 million would be hard to turn down, if the bid comes. I wouldn't want him to go for much less than that, though. On the other hand, it sounds like Villa believe he's good enough for the Premier and £5m for a young defender at that level is a bargain. Luke Shaw went for £26m :-)

I don't think Villa will offer 5mil and I don't think Wolves will sell unless Danny really wants out which he doesn't.

Now that Leicester City have finally bought Ulloa from Brighton, surely Wolves should be making offers for Chris Wood? Has anyone heard any news/rumours regarding this subject?

1.) Ulloa isn't really the issue, Leicester are looking for another striker apart from him - Deeney. The problem here is that a number of other clubs are looking at the same gent also. I think Watford have landed a replacement so Deeney will go, but maybe not to Leicester. So will they let Wood go in those circumstances? We're interested (rumours) but so are others, it might take a bit of time yet. wolfshead.
