I know we all want to win every game, but here's a question. Europe is probably beyond us now and we're safe. Given our remaining home fixtures at least we'd obviously want to beat Bournemouth and Palace, but would you sacrifice points against Luton if it meant Forest got relegated. I really like Nuno, but don't have a lot of time for Forest.

Not in the slightest mate.

League position is worth extra millions.

2.) 23 Apr 2024 14:01:56
Agreed Phil. It should always be about us. We won’t win every match, as you say Blackfords, but we are the creators of our own destiny.

3.) 24 Apr 2024 15:50:54
9 points would put us on 52 I think, and hopefully a top 10 finish, the higher the better.

See Tony Harrington is officiating Bournemouth Vs Man Utd on Sky TV this Weekend. So whilst GON is punished this guy gets yet another PL game and on TV. He probably can't smile wide enough.

That’s the problem, these so called professional refs still making mistakes that can cost money and jobs but don’t have to answer to anyone about thier decisions,

2.) 13 Apr 2024 12:52:52
I’m sure if he and/or VAR make a ‘mistake’ today it will be sorted in favour of Man U. But that may be just my view. Time will tell ?

3.) 13 Apr 2024 19:55:10
I rest my case.

I know we lost yesterday, but results from teams around us went pretty much in our favour. 3 points against Burnley and hopefully Cuhna back, and Hwang, Dawson close our season could reignite. I honestly believe we get these three back fit, we're a match for most teams.

What a fantastic team performance today. Thought all was lost when Neto went off, but RAN, Lemina, Sarabia, we're excellent. Can't pick a MOTM as all were superb.

Team was brilliant ref not so much Fulham should have ended that with 9 men but none the less fantastic win onwards to the FA cup qtr final now.
That win puts us 8th in the league on 41 poinbts, incredible season for us.

2.) 09 Mar 2024 17:20:47
I agree though I would give MOM to Lemina, is there anywhere he can't play.RAN a close second.Great team performance. COYW.

3.) 09 Mar 2024 17:22:41
With Neto out, RAN must be played further forward. I reckon Pedro's latest injury will put off potential buyers, if not, it will knock £20 million off his price.

4.) 09 Mar 2024 17:28:03
Are Wolves safe yet?

5.) 09 Mar 2024 17:30:55
Hi LCW,
I suspect you're correct regarding Neto. I think this injury will put off any prospective bidders from the top teams anyway.

6.) 09 Mar 2024 18:25:14
Probably Handsome, the highest points total a team has been relegated on is 42 West Ham 2002/3 no side has been relegated on 41 so 42 is an anomaly.

Can we get Bellegarde off. He's a passenger.

BlackfordsWolf1.

1.) 02 Mar 2024 16:21:34
Completely agree BW. I really don't know what he does. He is lightweight and gives up chasing balls that could be got.

2.) 02 Mar 2024 17:03:31
Neto and Lemina looked uninterested today. Really poor showing from the team. Let's hope its just a cup hangover

3.) 02 Mar 2024 17:52:49
Bellegarde as #9. What an awful decision by GON, when you have a true striker (Fraser) that needs an opportunity.
But we were unlucky on both Newcastle goals in 1st half. They didn't do anything that was impressive, just capitalized on lucky bounces.

4.) 02 Mar 2024 19:36:48
Have to agree about Bellegarde, what on earth does GON see in him. If there is nobody better in the Under 21s we are in a sad state. Too many seemed disinterested today, they should spare a thought for the fans who spend good money to travel all the way up north to cheer them on, they at least deserve something in return. Note to GON, second priority in the next window after signing a striker, a reliab!e Keeper!

5.) 02 Mar 2024 21:55:56
I think the problem w Bellegarde is he is being played out of position. When he first joined and showed quality he was playing a central midfield role. Moving him to the left or up to #9 is not the best use of his abilities. However, we need to remember it was his cross v Brighton that led to Mario Jr winning goal.

Im don't think we need another keeper. Yes, I agree Sa made a mistake with the 2nd goal, or maybe it was Kilman, but it was not the reason we lost.

I said this some many posts ago.'we all live in America' and changes will be imposed on us regardless of how we protest. Someone said on an earlier post that the vast sums of money have now started to ruin the game and they're correct. Corruption, is/will become part and parcel. I had a season ticket for over 30 years and took both my lads, and maybe not surprisingly neither has any interest in football now. I still watch pretty much most Wolves games on TV by whatever means possible but glad now I don't part with hard earned cash. Ridiculous decisions, can't celebrate goals in case VAR intervenes, constant lengthy interruptions in play due to VAR. Some ill qualified guy remote from the game making stupid decisions. 100+ minute games, no consistency re FFP. In short a total mess. PL the best in the world. Really. The other leagues must be dreadful, because we're going backwards year on year. I'll still support/follow Wolves but won't put my money into something now that's simply so bad.

Couldn't agree more. Can't see us winning another game this season. Very poor tonight in all areas.

Sorry, but not a chance. He hasn't the experience YET to manage a club like Liverpool. I suspect that when klopp leaves they could be in a state of turmoil for a short while similar to UTD when Ferguson left. It could ruin him if he was offered the job and was sacked shortly after if things didn't work out. Higher profile managers with more experience will be offered that role surely?
