After this season, I will not be watching Match of the Day again. Not once did they mention us today. All they spoke about was the vital point Everton gained. No mention of the swashbuckling run by Adama that led to our goal.

Jas mate the international broadcasters put our UK broadcasters to shame, I often fine Peacock to be very balanced same with their highlight show they are very balanced.

MOTD is a borefest, I often record it, watch the highlights, and skip the punditry. So many generic comments.

A good example would be Danny Murphy on Talk Sport vs Danny Murphy on MOTD. His comments on MOTD are all cosy and safe, he offers better opinions on TS.

To be honest jas, adamas run hasn't been heralded by ourselves on this forum. Yesterday was really on saying thanks and farewell, which didn't happen as we thought it would. Everton were coming desperately wanting anything they could and facilitated by 9 mins added and Bentley flapping. But true MOD didn't pay anything to traore which on another day we'd be crowing over. MOD always have a bias towards the London Manchester Liverpool based teams and is presented by the the national treasure all the million pounds worth of it! I tend to do what Debbie does (I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere) and watch sky highlights on Sunday morning. But back to adama, that run shows what he can do and why I'd like to see him stay. To have that kind of threat on the bench is a plus, whether the wages are worth it is up to JL to decide.

I get you point Abbeywolf. Yesterday was about a number of teams and players playing their final home game of the season. But the fact that every game that was shown, the analysis mentioned both teams regardless of the result but not once did Lineker, Shearer or Jenas mention Wolves. It was all about Everton and how good they are.

Adama can be exciting as well as frustrating. However for me the stats that matter are goals and assists. When I checked today in his 5 years with us in the premier league he has 10 goals and 15 assists. That’s 5 key contributions a season, which for an attacking player isn’t enough surely. Admittedly the whole team hasn’t been positive on these stats for 2 years but even with his best years work with Raul we need more from our forwards in future.
