The period to calculate ffp ends on 30th June so our aggregate losses for 20/21, 21/22 and 22/23 so the incoming for coady,hopefully Collins and neves help stay inside/near to our acceptable loses figure. The next period is 21/22, 22/23 and 23/24 so our big spends last summer and January will still be relevant but the immediate challenge will have been addressed.

Not getting into the this player or that one might be coming just reiterating the rules. We have to name a 25 man squad of which 8 have to be homegrown, ie through British academies. With 8 British players reqd excluding academy or under 21 its going to be interesting to see who forms part of those 8, all of whom need to be good enough to play well in the prem.

wavid, think about it - they have made Thelwell head of all football matters so they are confident in his capabilities like it or not. Obviously with more input from mendes, butti and zenga. If we go for any player you need to accept its the wish of all of our ' football' hierarchy and put the past regime behind you.

Adama can be exciting as well as frustrating. However for me the stats that matter are goals and assists. When I checked today in his 5 years with us in the premier league he has 10 goals and 15 assists. That’s 5 key contributions a season, which for an attacking player isn’t enough surely. Admittedly the whole team hasn’t been positive on these stats for 2 years but even with his best years work with Raul we need more from our forwards in future.

Yes and having seen a tweet today re buying the league sharing what was written as no one is twigging that our starting defence (6) cost just £3m. Ruddy and Bennett on frees, Boly loan, Coady £2m, Douglas£1m and doc at £75k. In Nunos first ever interview he said he would make every player better and the proof is there in spades. that's a great coach.
