Realy good news all round back home for Adama, good fee guaranteed if only at end of season and not going to north london for them to ruin another Molineux legend. Sorry to see him move on in some respects but grateful and thankful for the exciting moments he gave us

I personally don't understand where Daniel Levy has earnt his reputation as a hard bargain driver. Other than refusing to sell Gareth Bale for less than a world record price at the time, which other bargains has he bagged? From the current team I would say Doherty, Lo Celso, Ndombele, Sanchez are anything other than bargains.

If a deal is done with Barca, on any basis, then great. Happy for Adama and happy my spidey senses are still working.
Not sure about £35M though prestonwulf, unless that includes the loan fee. It probably also means that little or no money will be coming in until the summer, but let's see what the club has to say.

Sorry to be a party pooper but I think it was €30m so actually £24m. Which I suspect includes the loan fee (probs around £4m) so in real money we won't be making much more I'm afraid. And even then it assumes they sign him, what if they don't?! Then we could see him go for nearer £10m cause by then he'll only have 12 months on the contract! Sorry but without the fee being obligatory this seems like a bit of a gamble to me, the worst part is that the thing we are gambling on is Barcas accounting ability?! My worry is ppp that's proven to be quite shoddy to date ?
Let's hope it all works out, then Adama gets the move he wants and we make half of what he's actually worth. Can we call that a win/win, I don't know? In fairness to the club there's not a lot more they can do with the corner we've backed ourselves into ?

BB I would have to agree. I'm happy he's not gone to Spurs plus I wish him well and hope he's happy at Barcelona but unless we are getting someone in return I don't see any sense in it. We are gaining nothing from this deal as it stands. No guarantees of anything. If he'd gone to Spurs wed have 20m with this nothing. I hope they know what they are doing because from what I've read Bruno didn't want him to go.
Hope he's happy not so sure we should be! We will no doubt see by Monday evening.
