Neves wants to emulate Pirlo who played as a deep lying playmaker behind the main midfield and was widely regarded as one of the greatest ever exponents of this position due to his vision, ball control, creativity and passing ability. Someone decided Neves is best left on the bench.

If Jota is not fit then Cav plays on the left.

I love Nuno but! How do you leave Cav out and play waste of space Traore down the middle? If you want someone to find the back of the net in that position Cav every day of the week in preference to Traore, I. Am seriously beginning to think this guy was a total waste of money.

Traore works better for us as an impact player so does Cav really and unless MGW can show us he is class at the start of a game then so is he which means without Jota we need to start with Jiminez Costa then Bonatini in 343 or Moutinho in 3412. I know Bonatini not everyone's choice and similar to Jiminez but when we play Traore to offer something different (speed) it doesn't work.

Well this is one of the hardest matches of the season so best play players who can handle Son and Erikson and not play too deep I want to see Neves Saiss Moutinho all playing.
