Just seen on X that Wolves are considering a loan or permanent deal move for Enzo Gonzalez. Another wonder kid I think we paid £5 Million for and we'll never see.

Tbf 5mil on potential is nothing, it only has to work out once every so often for it to make business sense. I believe most teams have this approach but it must be wrong as fosun do it also.
As for all those players you listed bed wetter as far as I remember none cost 35mil but it doesn’t surprise me that you can’t read other people’s posts properly.

So Jeff Shi gets a huge pay rise for abject failure at least with WWFC. It does make you wonder where Fosun's priorities lie in the sports/entertainment arm of their portfolio.

Blackfords, I doubt WWFC was ever Jeff Shi's priority or Fosun's for that matter, given the trajectory of the club. My guess is that his was to get the Esports complete with their new stadium up and running, so mission accomplished.

Well, I loved Hugo's goal, so pleased for Endozie's finish, but I believe they've given it as an OG.
Sadly though our overall game was worryingly poor. Bad passing, back passing playing loose balls and a somewhat gung-ho approach at the end.
Arsenal aren't a very 'fair' team to play admittedly, down right cheating at times, but we made it so much easier for them.
That said we gifted them their goals and kept them at bay quite well.
Surprised at coming back from 2 down tho and a small thrill in a dismal season.

Unfortunately for us, Birmingham's owner(s) is/are very ambitious & forward thinking. Also, unlike us, they are in direct discussions with the local council to build a new road network to & from the ground. Also, I believe the HS2 train will stop at their ground.
It's not instant, but it's a project & exciting for the blue noses. As a club, they are certainly no bigger than us & have nowhere near our club's rich history, but it just shows what can be achieved with owners who really want to take the club forward.

Well there you go. A few on here are suggesting his managerial career might have taken a knock. Not seen the odds on Burnley getting promoted, but probably not that high. What a great job football management is. Spend the owner's money, and if/when it doesn't work out, get fired with a huge payoff. Walk into another role, and repeat.
